Spencer got home late last night for homecoming. I was already fast asleep in my bed but when I woke up I was filled in with all the events from last night. "So Emily went with Toby? As the psycho bitch Jenna Marshall's brother who we suspect has some connection with A? Has Emily gone mad?" I questioned after Spencer told me about Emily's unexpected date. "Yes, that Toby. He's disappeared now. Dropped Emily at the hospital then ran." Spencer says. "Can em have visitors yet or is the police at her house asking her a billion questions?" I ask. "Well, let's go see if we can visit. Do you want to eat before we go?" Spencer asks me. I shake my head then get ready to leave.

When we arrive at the fields residence there was a police car outside with two officers just sat there watching. There was also a car with the word "𝙲𝚘𝚗𝚐𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚞𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜" written on the front window. Even though Emily had ended up getting stitches last night she  still managed to win the prize of a car from the raffle at homecoming. Me and Spencer walked up the steps to the front porch and rang the doorbell. Pam fields, Emily's mom, answers the door with her welcoming smile. "Hey, is Emily allowed visitors?" Spencer asks. "Ok girls, but just for a little bit since Emily needs rest. Aria is upstairs already so just go on up." Pam welcomes us into her home. "Do either of you want a cookie?" She asks. We both refuse politely and then head upstairs to Emily's room. We enter to see Aria sat on the end of Emily's bed talking to her. "Hey em. How you feeling?" Spencer greets as she hands Emily a cup of coffee that we picked up on the way. "I'm ok. Just a bit of a headache and a sprained wrist." She replied. We all talked about a different subject until homecoming becomes the topic of conversation again. "It was all in his shrinks file. Toby and Jenna had a relationship." Aria tells em. "Way beyond step siblings." Spencer adds. "Yeah. They were ... involved." I tell her feeling a bit disgusted.  "Romantically?" Emily questions. "I wouldn't call it romantic. I doubt she had much of a choice." Spencer answered. "And that's what Alison saw when she threw the stink bomb." Aria said. "Yeah, and she threatened to expose Toby. Which is probably why he wanted her dead." I say. "And not just her, us. You." Aria adds. We all stare at em waiting for her to say something. Spencer suddenly released the face she had and said, "You don't believe us?" "I do. I-I just don't get it. If Toby killed Alison and wanted to do the same to me then why am I sitting in my bed and not a body bag?" Emily questions. I gulped. There was a tense silence until I spoke up and said, "So what did you tell the police?" "I told them that when I went out for air I tripped." Emily explains. "But why didn't you just tell them that he attacked you?" Aria asked. "I didn't want to say anything until I talked to you guys first." Em confesses. "Well the truth is in the file." Spencer says. "So we're just supposed to hand over the file? What happens when the police question why we have it?" I exclaim. "Well, she can tell them everything now." Spencer argues. "She can't tell them everything. You have to leave out the file." Aria snaps at Spencer then turning to Emily. "Fine. Leave out the file." Spencer says giving up her argument. Then Hanna shows up. "Who knew rosewood had this many cops? I went to put this back and they were outside the doctors office talking to Toby's shrink. They know this was stolen. " She informs us pulling the file out of her handbag. "Can I see that?" Emily asks holding out her hand. "If anyone saw me going into that building last night I am so hosed." Hanna tells us. Arias phone pings and she picks it up to look at the notification. "Is that from-?" Spencer starts. "No, my mom." Aria says clearly knowing what Spencer was going to say. Spence let out a sigh of relief. "Ask your father if he plans to toke the car in this week." Aria reads, "My parents have gone from not talking to not texting. This sucks. I better go home." Aria starts to collect her things. "Yeah, me and Ev should probably go too." Spencer tells the girls as she taps my arm. "Uh. No. I just got here." Hanna complains, then she looks at the file, "Hey what do I do with that?" "Just stuff it in your locker tomorrow. We'll figure it out later. Bye." Aria says leaving. "Feel better em." Spencer says also leaving. "See you soon guys." I say as I follow behind my sister.
