13 ~ With The Power of Friendship!

Gregory's POV

After the whole situation, we started to walk toward one of the doors, but Freddy started speaking through our watches.

"All done! See, that was not so bad." He said in a grateful tone. Y/n laughed and nodded while I just smiled.

"If the path is clear, head to the Prize Counter." We nodded and continued through a red door with the number two in the top left corner.

Y/n went to walk into the next area, but I put a hand infront of her so she didn't continue. She looked at me confused but I stepped infront of her and made sure nothing dangerous was in the area.

After I made sure nothing was there, we stepped into the big area, revealing a gigantic area full of different counters stacked with pieces of merchandise for the Pizzaplex and its characters.

"What the hell are we supposed to do in this area?" I looked around and the overwhelming amount of colours was just a bit too much.

"I have no clue, but me personally, I think we should wear these matching Freddy bracelets! Look at how cute they are!" She held out two orange and blue coloured bracelets with the word 'Freddy' in all capital letters in the middle of the coloured beads with a big smile.

I shook my head and backed away from the bracelets, "WHAT! Eww, no! Bracelets are WAY too girly." I crossed my arms and she looked at the bracelets with a sad face then back at me.

"But they're matching, and they're Freddy themed." She pouted and my heart dropped.

I carefully but quickly grabbed one of the bracelets and slipped on my wrist, I saw her eyes lighten again.

"Just so you know, I'm wearing it because you gave it to me." I said and she nodded.

As we were about to take another step forward, "SUPERSTARS!"  I jumped out of my skin and nearly fell over.

"I hope you both haven't gone too far, because I think I've found an exit for you both." Freddy explained.

The only emotion that y/n and I were feeling, was pure hope that we were getting out of here. Y/n cheered and leaned into my watch.

"Ok Freddy! What do we do?" I asked him with a hopeful smile.

"Alright, what I need you both to do, is to go to the back of the Prize Counter. The fire escape is in the VIP room." We agreed and were about to walk off to find this VIP room, but Freddy stopped us.

"I must warn you." I looked confused and looked at y/n to see if she knew what was happening. She didn't.
"Both Roxanne and Montgomery are in this area, so please, stay as safe as you can."

I asured Freddy that we would be fine and we set out on finding this VIP room, that was supposed to have our way out.

While we were sneaking past Roxy and doing out absolute darnedest to avoid Monty at all costs, y/n was picking up anything she found interesting and either putting it in her bag, or putting it in her pocket.

But since reaching behind her to slip something in her bag every 5seconds was annoying, she moved the bag, so the back of the bag was on her front.
She was basically wearing it backwards and just collecting things that she thought would be good for her collection.

3rd POV

Y/n decided that running with a backpack backwards was a slight disadvantage to her, so she moved back to normal. Then both children were getting chased.

By two, massive animatronics.

I think everything was going absolutely fantastic!

So far they had just, and I mean just outrun Roxy twice and they had somehow not been seen by Monty at all.

But after being confused for a couple minutes on where to go, they found two red counters. This had to be the place!

Using hand gestures, Gregory told y/n to check one counter while he checked the other. Y/n crawled over and checked behind prize counter number one.

She giggled as she found a little prize box and carefully opened it. Inside she found two little snacks, she quickly but quietly met Gregory and held it out to him.

He nodded in thanks and put it into his backpack.

"You found the fire escape. Unfortunately, I do not think there is a way to open it without becoming or being a VIP. It's not a very good emergency system." The pair nodded.
"You both are pretty lucky there is not a fire. I have lodged a formal complaint, so hopefully these kind of things with be fixed."

Y/n looked around a bit more panicked than before and spoke to Freddy, "All the doors are locked Freddy! I don't think we're going to make it out of this place!" Gregory did his best to reassure y/n, Freddy nodded and seemed to check something.

"Get to the elevator. Find a safe path on your Fazwatch."

A couple feet behind the children, Roxy growled and started walking straight in their direction.

"We need to move quickly, I saw the elevator while we were walking here. If we can just get past her we should be able to run straight to the elevator."
Y/n grabbed Gregory's wrist and crawled around a corner, silently waiting for Roxy to come around looking for them.

When she finally did, y/n stood up and bolted with her grip tight on Gregory's wrist. Roxy realised that they were running and bolted after them.

"AS LONG AS WE KEEP RUNNING SHE CAN'T GET US!" Y/n yelled, attracting some unwanted attention from a certain green animatronic.

Monty growled and also ran after them as they ran past. Both were breathing very heavily and y/n was slowing down.

'COME ON GREGORY! KEEP RUNNING!' Gregory yelled in his head and ran infront of the tired girl. He felt y/n's grip loosen on his wrist and he looked behind him.

Y/n's face was extremely red and she looked tired. But all Gregory was worried about, was both of them getting to the elevator safely.

They ran a couple more steps and Gregory felt y/n's hand let go of his wrist. He looked back and y/n was kneeling on the floor, gasping for air.

'SHIT! COME ON Y/N! I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!' "Y/N, COME ON WE'RE SO CLOSE!" He exclaimed but it seemed like she couldn't hear him.

Roxy and Monty were right around the corner behind them and they couldn't afford to be caught by them. Not when they were this close.

He ran back to the poor girl and picked her up, putting her on his back.
She looked at him confused, but Gregory sprinted to the elevator door.
Pushed the open button and stepped inside of the elevator.

"Thank you." Y/n said quietly and Gregory smiled.

"No proble-." Gregory was interrupted by the elevator doors being pried open.

Gregory set Y/n down and stood infront of her protectively. The door opened.

And...

The map bot shoved a map in Gregory's face.

"Take a map. Take a map." It continued to put the booklet in the boy's face. Until a female huff was heard behind the robot.

"Out of my way!" The robot was shoved to the side the female security guard stepped into the elevator and grabbed a hold of each child's shoulder.

"Gotcha!"
