Y/n POV
Gregory and I made our way over to the door Freddy had told us to go to. As Gregory was recharging his flashlight in the charging station, I couldn't help by still feel really bad about Freddy's state.
"Are you ready to go?" Gregory asked me with his hand pulling open the door. I took one more look at Freddy, before turning to Gregory and nodding.
We stepped through the door and it was like this little, twisting walkway with crates, barrels and sandbags everywhere.
"Do you think Freddy will be okay?" I looked at Gregory, surprised by his sudden question. He looked to my face and must've seen the surprised expression, because he shook his head, "Don't worry about it, it's a stupid question." He sped up his pace a little and walked ahead of me.
My stomach turned in guilt and I quickly rushed beside him, "It wasn't a stupid question! And its ok if you're worried about Freddy, I am too!" He looked at me so I smiled, "I think, no... I know Freddy is gonna be ok! It's Freddy!" I threw my arms in the air.
Gregory laughed and I was happy to see a smile on his face, with everything happening he hasn't really gotten a chance to laugh or smile, so I was happy as long as Gregory was happy.
"I guess you're right, like always." He mumbled a couple things at the end of his sentence but a small smile stayed on his face so I assume it was positive!
We arrived at another door and Gregory opened it to see what we had to through, it seemed like we were about to go into a warehouse of sorts where there were two, maybe three security bots roaming around, and there were also hard, metal footsteps on the ground somewhere.
I checked my Fazwatch to see if I could see who the loud metal footsteps were coming from and I shuddered when I saw Roxy walking around a really tall shelf covered in construction material.
"I am almost 100% certain we need to go to that lit up hallway down there." Gregory stopped me from watching Roxy and the security bots go around in a pattern. I looked up to where he was pointing and saw the lit up hallway, there were some yellow lockers and a table or two with chairs on top of them.
"How are we getting around Roxy though?" I looked down to my fazwatch, expecting a reply, but when I didn't receive anything. So I decided to look up to ask if he was ok, when I saw that instead of being right beside me, he had ran off and was already the hallway. Realization hit me like a bus, when I realised I had to get over there by myself.
"Oh crumbs."
Gregory POV
"Look, now wasn't that easy y/n." I asked and looked beside me to see y/n roll her eyes, but instead of seeing her, I just saw a couple of sheets of rubber stacked on top of eachother. "Y/n?" I finally looked back to where I had just come from to see y/n kneeling in the doorway with a nervous expression.
"Crap." I muttered to myself. I looked at my fazwatch to see if I could talk to her through it like Freddy did with us.
I pressed a random button and a staticky like sound like a radio played through it, I pressed one of the buttons on the side of it and the staticky sound stopped. So obviously I spoke through it, "Y/n? Can you hear me?" I kept my eye on her closely to see her reaction, and it must've worked because she jumped and looked up at me.
I saw her press a couple of buttons and then her voice came through the fazwatch.
"Gregory? What do I do, I don't want to deal with Roxy by myself!" I could hear how frightened she was and I couldn't help but feel terrible.
"It's going to be alright. All you have to do is wait until Roxy walks around the corner and then bolt it for me ok?" She immediately shook her head. "No, I can't do it." I sighed and tried to think of a way to convince her that she could do it, then the perfect idea hit me.
