"Hah! I told you that there are no Gods in Nomna!" Lucius Adeen laughed, pointing at the magical hologram he had conjured that had the power to identify each God or Goddess in the universe. To Adryan Sharpe's surprise, there were none in Nomna. "They don't exist!"

"W-well we can't be sure!" Adryan Sharpe frowned, trying to zoom into Nomna, "they could be hidden!"

"Mhm yeah right, the hologram is smarter than that!" Lucius put his hands onto his hips, showing nothing but proudness.

"We all know people from Nomna are bad, evil and probably even mischievous! They could be smarter than some magic—" Sharpe looked carefully, he had read about some godly characters in his childhood history-based books once—Fey and Arlo, were they?

"False! I know this for a fact, and I am sure!" Adeen grinned, being very confident in his knowledge.

Thud—they heard a door shut behind them, it was the hut's wooden door. It had been blown shut by the wind. Leaves fell down the trees—the magic trees even, which indicated how much strength the wind held.

The sky was evidently dark—very dark compared to the normal dimness back at the village. Forests should be dark in the night, but shouldn't quite be as dark as this, the darkness of the magical forest. There's a reason why nobody comes here or stays here at night.

"Oh no, it's scary here at night!" Adryan cried, looking around and settling his eyes at the trees that were swaying around, which scared him even more. He could never, ever find ease being in this jungle, but Lucius did nothing but to shake his head in disbelief and bravery.

"You're such a scaredy cat!" Lucius huffed, going to push him teasingly while he flinched and jumped away at the sudden finger pushing his back.

"D-don't act like you didn't know anything about the rumours we've always been told!" He stepped closer back to Lucius so there was someone by his side even if he was scared—though the person he was trusting to protect him was very scary and would ten-out-of-ten put him into the hands of a monster.

That was when the wind blew stronger, leaves slapping his face whilst they were falling down. It seemed as if all of the leaves were just targeting him for being afraid of this place, as none of them even managed to get in front of Lucius' face—or it was just that it was because of the angle that the wind blew from. He felt a shiver run down his spine, trembling from both cold and fear.

Because of that, Lucius found another reason to laugh at him more, "pfaha! Who cares about the rumours? Not me," he stood up and grabbed a rock that was big enough to break something with some help of his magic and postured to throw it, "look at this! Nothing will happen!" He aimed at the dark woods between two large, rocking trees and threw it as far as he could. "See? Nothing happened!"

"B-but what if—what if you just triggered a frost giant and it's running our way now?!" Adryan wanted to step away, but the entire forest was swirling until every single tree they saw moved somewhere else, making it dangerous to go away alone, right, the jungle is magical.

Adeen paused, staring at him with a frown together with a smug smile played on his lips before breaking into pure laughter, "frost giants?! Haha! They don't exist! Plus, if they were running our way, we'd feel it," he leaned closer to him, "or do you already feel it because of your trembling feet?"

"St-stop it! I wanna go home, now!" Sharpe tried to sound demanding, but failed as a wave of yellow—slightly orange power blasted towards him, making him jump away and want to hug a tree, but realising that the tree would simply just throw him away to Goddess knows where. "I wanna go home!"
