HELENA REYSDOTTIR

"So? How was it?" I quickly asked him once he reached the hut. He seemed to be happy there, I've seen it, with my magic, of course. I was wondering if he'd lie to me about what happened since he's such a 'great' liar now.

"It was amazing. Honestly, who knew it would turn out much better after you left?" He let out a laugh and went to sit by my side. It was genuine, none of his feelings was fake nor were they negative.

"Which also means whatever I do is right," I rolled my eyes at him.

"Uh-huh, does that include burning an entire village down?" He raised a brow and stared at me.

I laughed. "Of course it does. If not, how were you able to have the chance to become a hero? You just stepped on the wrong path and decided to work with me, after all."

"You clearly just did all that just for fun," he clicked his tongue.

"But it did benefit you," I smiled.

"Of course it did. It was what I was hoping for - a villain to show up, not someone to burn down my village - ever since the beginning," he huffed, resisting to roll his eyes at me.

"Still proves my point," I stared at him with a grin plastered onto my face, "anyways, did anything else happen?"

"Yeah, we had tons of fun. Your large plate fell onto the floor and we needed to clean it up, that's the sore reason why we had fun, if that counts," he crossed his arms.

"I'm glad to hear that you had fun with your old friends," I smiled at him, "did you get to have some alone time with your mother? She seemed the nicest at most."

"Yeah, we had a small talk about my paths in life and whatever, she was worried about me," he gulped and looked down at himself, clearly feeling unproud of his own actions, but that was alright.

"Do you want to be with them, again?" I asked, it was a question that forced his mind to think.

He switched his gaze from his hands to me, "I'd love to, but I don't wanna leave you alone after all that. I still don't know if Lucius and Anna would love for me to go back and make everyone think that they've gotten mad, too."

"Oh trust me, that's never gonna happen," I snickered, "I'm pretty sure that they'd love for you to be their ally again. I'd just promise to never hurt you four."

"You're going to continue hurting people?" Adryan raised his eyebrows and stared at me.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not done yet. It's my evil nature to be like this, after all," I let out a soft chuckle and rested my head upon the cushions on the armrest of the sofa.

"You could change, you know. I'm supposed to be a good hero and here I am," he said, looking at me expectantly. "If I could change so easily, you could as well. I went from the one who wants to save lives to someone who murdered people out of spite - for William - and fun."

"That's understandable, you got with me and I basically told you to do all of these things," I shrugged.

"Remember the first time we met? You asked me whether if I wanted to go, and that was the thing that got me to like you," he began, fidgeting with his fingers. "And now you ask me if I want to go back to my friends and family. Am I supposed to say yes?"
