ADRYAN SHARPE

"Ready, darling?"

"As ready as I'll ever be."

──────⊹⊱✫⊰⊹──────

"Everybody! Stay out of the way! We have to take care of the body!" Rav yelled along with a few healer Gods and Goddesses, dashing into the building before I got the chance to. Men were sobbing, crying, screaming and running everywhere, and I couldn't get my visions right.

It was like a cross, I could see both sides of view. I could see the one where I'm sitting on top of a tree branch, and the one where I'm there...standing, motionless, calm, and lips slightly curled to form a smile rather than a frown. She was right, it was hard controlling both at a time, one of them always have to be controlled more than the other. But both of them are motionless for me, and I'm sure I won't get used to this anytime soon. I hope this ends quickly.

"WHERE IS KASDEYA?! WHERE IS SHE?!" Someone screamed out, voice ending with a sharp screech - and that caught my attention, I've never been a fan of sharp noises. "YOU! SIR ADRYAN! I THOUGHT YOU CHAINED HER UP SO SHE WOULDN'T GO ANYWHERE?!"

I had to resist the urge to roll my eyes at her when she ran up to me, "calm down ma'am, I've got this all under control. Her magic is far too powerful." And I hoped she'd listen. Fortunately, she didn't care enough to stay.

"THE DETECTIVE HAS BEEN KILLED, AND I SAY YOU'RE NEXT!" She screamed whilst her legs were fleeing from the building. I heard her say something else, but she had already left. There were still careless people who stayed in the building, staring into the window of William's office. I wanted to go and shoo them away, but it was for the good of our side. Or just, her side, and I'm nothing but an accomplice.

"Stay safe, woman!" I shouted, hoping the girl would hear me. I wonder who let all the people stay in the buildings anyway, the Gods and Goddesses should've indicated that this was a special case.

Boom.

A bright orange light suddenly captured my attention, my building was swallowed in a huge fire.

Shit. Mother, Lucius and Anna.

My steps took a turn and felt the need to go and run towards them, but there was a smarter thing to do. I took a deep breath and gulped.

"Hel? Can you hear me?" I prayed out, "Was it you who started the fire in my building?"

It took around ten seconds before Helena responded, which made me panic. "Yes. No need to worry, your papers, bombs, some books on dark magic are all saved," she said in a mindless tone.

"But -"

"Your friends and family are safe."

"Almost like you could read my mind, thank you," and I cut off the connection quickly to take another needy breath. Unfortunately, I regretted it due to the sharp screams of men, women and non-binary people coming back to my attention. How much I wanted to throw knives at them - thanks to my newfound ability - though I've no more knives left. I might just find a way to conjure up knives at the spot, Helena - who has mother energy - and mother would be proud about it.

"Need knives?" She popped back into my brain and said, I could hear the smirk and smugness in her voice.

"No thank you, I was joking," I scoffed, putting my hands back into my pocket just to fidget.

"Ah, okay, have they pulled out William's body yet, though?" She asked, making me return my attention back to reality - again. I whispered a tiny "yes" and started to wave at people to get them all out of the building - again. "Could've told me that when they started pulling the body, get out of there, I'm throwing a fucking bomb."
