"Some friendships aren't meant to last forever."
The saying was most often uttered by reassuring parents or social media posts meant to preach that, not every one who wanders into our lives are meant to stay.

Luckily for him, after a karate movie that had been released five years beforehand, followed by it's sequel, it had become all the rage. It was easy to find a hiring dojo that was eager to accept him. With a job practicing the hobby he loved, he was able to build a steady life for himself.
Until a dark night in which Arian's given both a cruel reminder and blessing in disguise. The story had been shared with Alara and her siblings in an incredibly dramatic fashion, but the short of it was—
