Chapter 8

"you sure you're alright?" She nodded "yeah... It's just my girlfriends- that's all" He raised an eyebrow "huh never expected you had girlfriends" Val shot him a look "you uh... Don't have a problem with that?" She asked

Ein shrugged "no. It's not my place to tell you shit, after all, that's your personal life, not mine so it isn't my business if you like girls or something it's normal"
Ein said with no hesitation, Val's eyes brighten, but became soft

"Thanks, now that we only need one last thing to buy then we are good," She said, Ein and Valentina decided to buy coffee, to have a little break from walking, they also bought snacks

"Aaron~!! Please--" Aaron then shuts the door and started sprinting "I'm not letting you win this Time aph!!" Aaron said happily and ran for his car Aph finally managed to get out by the window along with Lucinda and Mellisa "AARON YOU BASTARD-" Mellisa shouted falling off and getting caught by her girlfriend

Aaron hurries and readies the car about to start but then the other three made it "HA! We still got it!" Aaron groaned "damnit," He said frowning but he lets them in anyway

The car started and everyone in the car was panting, Zane couldn't join them for today because of an urgent announcement from his father making him rush out of the house before he could be invited to hang out with them, Luci and Mellisa decided to take a small nap and aph was in her phone listening to music

It was a short 20-minute ride, and finally, they were here, Aaron parked the car and all of them took off entering the mall

"You guys want to go eat first before we go and try out new stuff in Arcade or something?" Mellisa said, all three of them agreed and followed her to a small cafeteria nearby

Aaron relaxed and sniffs the air, a familiar scent made him shiver although he didn't know why Aaron looked around for any sign there was none "hey Aaron what do you wanna eat? Should we all just order pizza?" Aph suggested, Aaron nodded "that'll be good, and some coke would also work," Luci said

After finishing their snack, they finally decided to walk again finding their way to the arcade, it was wild, the place was crowded full of teenagers, full of children, and a few adults

Aaron sniffed one more time, the familiar scent was close, he looks around again, faster, but there was nothing, he doesn't know why it bothers him, but he shrugged it off by following the others finally buying out some tokens

It was all fun, playing a new game called 'Detroit' it was a short game showing some stuff about Androids becoming human, Deviant? or something

Aaron saw a double player machine and invited Mellisa over challenging her to who can kill most zombies but when he enters the token it was too late another person took the other spot both of them glancing at each other, the other man looked more shocked than he is himself, "ah- sorry were you about to play?" Aaron asked

The man looks a lot like the picture Zane showed him, must this person be Ein? He shook the thought and looked at his sister and he got more confused at seeing her also shocked, looking at the other man, he has blue-ish stripes on his hair and a big scar on the left cheek, his collar bone was visible, he also has small scars on it Aaron raised a brow but then realize he was staring a little too long

"Uh- well it's too late now, shouldn't waste this chance, shall we play?" He asked kindly, the man was startled by the sudden kindness, But Aaron decided to pretend to not notice, the other nodded and slowly grabbed the other 'Fake-gun'

They both decided to play, the other man was silently playing but Aaron didn't mind, as time goes on, the game finally finished but the thing is, Aaron and the other man were so happy they both laughed and high-fived while laughing happily, though the other realize it

"Oh- sorry uh- I overjoyed" Aaron shook his head "it's alright, by the way, what's your name?" Aaron asked with a smile, he saw a tint of red rush on the other cheeks "oh- uhh... The name, Elvis..." The man said he sighed and smiled "Elvis Costello" The man finishes Aaron could only smile "Aaron, the name is Aaron Lycan"

In an instant, they exchange numbers, Aaron looked so happy when he did, they both waved goodbye and he turned to look at his sister, which is surprised

Apparently, mouth opened wide, along with Luci and aphmau, "uhm...are you alright?" Aaron asked the three shaking their heads "right- uhh- hey Aaron wanna try the other games we haven't played yet? It'll be fun!" Aphmau suggested fast Aaron had to process what she said

"Uh sure" Aaron decided to ignore their strange behavior and follows them again

Val had a smirk on her face, and Ein was furiously Blushing from embarrassment for no good reason "So~ you meet Aaron? What does he look like now? Since  you meet him again for the first time in years" Val asked, Ein tried to glare at her but he couldn't

"I- I don't understand- he- does he not remember? I don't even have the damned yellow eye contact right now-" He was stuttering so much Val sighed

"Are you panicking?" Val asked worried, "yeah? Maybe I am? I don't know!" He said messing his hair, again and again, furiously shaking it, "how can he not remember?! How can he just forget what I FUCKING DID TO HIM!?!" Eins sudden outburst stunned Valentina

Making her speechless Ein suddenly has tears forming in his eyes, they were at the parking lot taking the groceries to the back seat, "why?..." Val reached out, "why was he so kind all of a sudden? As if nothing happened? As if I didn't do shit to his life?" Ein started sobbing so much that Val hugged him

"Shh... We don't know that yet, after all, he might've just thought of you as somebody else... Or maybe... Never mind" Val cuts herself off by stopping herself "come on, calm down, people are gonna see us here... Let's go home okay?" She said softly, letting Ein go in first and her second.
