Chapter 18

"Elvis right? my brother told us about you, nice to meet you," Mellisa said handing out her hand in return for Ein to do the same, they were in the living room sitting on the couch, while Aaron was getting them some snacks, "say, you both live together right?" Luci asked, Val, nodded for Ein "we do, we both kinda meet each other at a bar haha" She says

Aphmau raised a brow, Val noticed, 'she's up to something, she probably is' Val had thought in her head "do you have any siblings Elvis?" she asked smiling at him 'knew it' Ein shook his head "I do?- before yeah she uhh, sorta died" he said, which surprised the three

"oh..." Aphmau said feeling a little guilty for asking, but it was a part of their plan "where did you get those scars?" Luci asked which made Ein look at her "scars?" he said "yes, those little scars on your face, if it's not too personal to ask" Ein looked at Val, and she sighed "the scars are personal, so wait for him to tell you if he gets comfortable, took me a whole two years to have his trust" she says, and Val laid backward at the couch

stretching her arms out, "oh is it?" she says, a bit suspicious "yes." Val said, with a hint of annoyance so Luci gave up. "alright then, we were glad to meet you"

The atmosphere was too awkward and intense that it made Ein get uncomfortably overwhelmed

"Well you guys aren't good at greeting each other, you guys looked so awkward... and tense," Aaron said

It startled everyone, Aaron was back with snacks and some water to drink Aaron leans into the three girls while Ein and Val excused themselves to the bathroom, telling them that Elvis needed to take his piss

"What are you three planning that made the two of them uncomfortable?" Aaron said, he made a long sigh "I thought you guys wanted to meet him as a friend, yet here you are thinking 'hey! Don't you think we should befriend him and make him tell us about what shit he does? So we can confirm if he's Ein or not?'" Aaron mocks them with anger

But it made him realize he just outed himself and his eyes widen along with the three girls' "shit." He said under his breath as he groaned

The girls were startled "how?.." Lucinda asks "have you three just forgotten I'm also a fucking wolf? But not a normal one? But the one that can hear your damn whispers in one room?" He finally snaps at them

"look, I understand you guys are curious if he's really Ein and if he is I would have known, it would have triggered something in me but it didn't!, so please... let me know him" He said and sighed "we clear?" The three girls had no choice but to nod in response

Aaron felt bad for snapping at them, but, if they were going to continue like this like he wasn't part of this then doing this was worth it.

He noticed aphmau open her mouth and then closed it again as if to say something but decided not to, he frowns, he knows that the three of them knows something that he doesn't, but they won't tell him, as if, they don't want Him to remember

"You okay Ein?" She asks in concern, but she only received a nod from him she sighed "look... if it makes you feel better we could just... tell them we're going home early alright?" She says but then Ein shakes his head "no, we should not, Lucinda is smart she'll be the first one to know, she'll be the first one to get suspicious"

That does make sense, so Val gave in "alright... We'll stay for another minute, but later on, we leave okay?" She says. it comforts Ein that someone...finally cares for him, someone that doesn't see him as a subject.
