The week is finally over. I had to deal with Peeta as my boss for a week and I gotta say things are in a straight business relationship. Peeta doesn't talk about the past and neither do I.

I finish getting ready by putting a beanie in my head when the door bell rings. I open it and find

Peeta Mellark

"Hello Peeta what are you doing here?" I ask

"I came to work on the balances for the company like I told you" he stops looking at my body and looks at me

"Oh yeah I forgot and was gonna go hang out with Jo, Finn, Annie, and Gale " I say

"Well I guess I'll see you later" he frowns and starts to walk away

"Peeta wait why don't you come with me I'm sure they will all like to see you again" I stop him

"You sure?" He says

"Yeah" I pick up my wallet, keys, phone and sunglasses and close the door

"You wanna go in my car or yours" he ask

"How about you ride your own and I ride my own too" I say pretending to be a child he rolls his eyes

"How am I supposed to know where we are going?" He smirk

"You can follow me" I say

"Okay" he say

"Just letting you know Jo may receive you with a punch" I laugh and enter my car and drive to Starbucks

"Kitty over here" Finnick yells as he sees me. I pull Peeta to the table with us. Everyone stays in shock and of course Jo is the first one to react and punches him just like I predicted which makes me laugh

"Guys you remember Peeta right?" I ask

"Of course we do" Jo says

"Well he is my new boss like I told you" I point to Jo

"Why is he here?" Gale growls

"I invited him" I say

"Why?" He says

"He will like to explain why he left all of us" I say and look at Peeta "right Peeta?"

"Right" he say

"What if we don't want to here him?" Gale ask

"You'll listen to him even if I have to glue your stubborn ass to that chair" I say he smirks

"Catnip got claws" he say

"Shut up and listen. Peeta begin" I say and he does

"Well that was something" Peeta say and I give him ice pack for his black eye he got from Jo. It took convincing and a black but they forgave him.

"Tell me about it she is a very aggressive person" I laugh but I remember something. "Hold on" I go upstairs, to my jewelry box and take out the engagement ring that Peeta gave to me

"Here" I place it in his hand

"The ring I thought you sold it or gave it away" he looks at it

"No I know how much that ring means to your family and I would never forgive myself although I could of have gotten a shit load of money for a 1910s antique engagement ring" I say

"Yeah you could of and honestly i thought you would" he says

"Never thought you'll think that low of me" I sit on a stool

"I remember when I gave you this" he smiles

Xx-Flashback-xX

I walk into the restaurant Peeta told me to meet him for our 3 year anniversary. The light are all turned off and it's dark, my heels click on the tile

"Hello is anyone here?" I shout then a spotlight hits me and Peeta comes out with a spotlight too

"Katniss Noemi Everdeen ever since I first saw you in your freshman year I knew I wanted you to be mine but that didn't come true until your sophomore year. I normally don't like math but now I thank it cause it gave me a chance to get to know you and become your friend. When I asked you to be my girlfriend and you said yes I was the happiest person alive and I still am cause now after 3 year I still get to call your beautiful face mine. I want to start a family with you, I want to grow old with you but I can't do that with out this-" he pulls out a little box and gets down on one knee "Would you Katniss Noemi Everdeen do me the honor of becoming my wife?" He hold the ring to me I nod cause I can't say anything I'm in shock and I'm crying but I manage to say

"Yes Peeta I'll marry you" I say he smiles, he slides the ring in my finger picks me up and spins me around

"I love you" he says

"I love you too" I say and he brings his lips to mine

"I remember too" is all I say

"Katniss what I did was a big mistake, that I can forgive myself for. But there is one thing I still love you" he says and my brain slowly process what he says

He loves me

He still loves me

"Say something please" he pleads

"I don't know what to say" I look at him

"Do you love me?" He ask

"I don't know I spent a year building a wall around my heart I don't want to get hurt again Peeta" I whisper he wraps his arms around me

"Please trust me Katniss give me another chance and I'll show you I'll make you love me again"
