18th june 1986
For the third time, Kimberly knocked on the door and waited for a response.
She tried to open the door and was surprised to find it unlocked; she opened it slightly and yelled out.
"Hello?" Her sweet voice called, she closes the door and began to turn around because feeling something grab her.
She screamed a little before realising it was river.
"You scared me." She attempted to de-stress following her recent heart attack.
"Sorry, sorry." He laughed and continued
"I was out back." He pointed "I completely forgot we had work tonight" he smiled
"Oh if you're busy I can always leave and we can try another-" Kimberly was cut off
"No, don't be stupid I always have time for you." He smiled
He saw Kimberly's expression when she swiftly looked up at him.
"Of course, to work." He smiled
"Enter." he joked pushing open the door to let Kimberly in.
"Do you know where we're going to study?" Kimberley had enquired.
"Well, my family isn't here, so if you like, we can study downstairs?" After closing the door behind him, he raised his eyes to her.
She gave a small nod and walked over to the kitchen table.
Rivers' brother and another guy walked in immediately as Kimberley sat down.
"no leaf, We're trying to study man," river moaned to his brother Before continuing,
"Go upstairs." River gave a serious mutter to his brother.
Walking into the living room with his friend, his brother taunted,
"no, take your girlfriend upstairs."
Before grabbing her bag, Kimberly noticed rivers face turn a shade of red.
"He's going to make a lot of noise, we might as well go to my room," he said as he helped kim grab items from the table before heading up the stairs.
Kimberly turned around after hearing a faint wolf whistle and saw Joaquin and his friend laughing behind her.
"Sorry about that, my brothers can be a jackass at times," he apologised as soon as they entered Rivers' room. He signed placing her bag to the floor.
"It's alright, siblings are annoying," says the narrator. Kimberley responded with a remark, and he snapped at her before asking.
"Do you have any brothers or sisters?"
"Yeah, they live with my dad, 13 and 8," she said, smiling to herself as she remembered her younger brothers.

Kimberley and River had been studying for 20 minutes when River noticed kim yawning.
"Are you tired?" he inquired, his gaze falling on her,
"Yeah, I didn't get much sleep last night."
"you can always go to sleep? We're nearly finished with this."
"It's fine; I don't want to leave everything to-" Kimberley got cut off,
"Don't be silly; it's alright; you can sleep in my bed." He motioned to his bed.
"Thank you," she whispered tiredly as she dragged herself over to his bed.
Kimberely crept into the rivers' bed, noticing how soft it was, and gradually closed her eyes, drifting away into the darkness.

Kimberley had awoken in a darkened room, unable to see river and just hearing voices.
She tried listening to voices she could hear behind the room
"She's in your bed?" someone asked as they entered the room, prompting Kim to close her sleepy eyes once more.
"tell your friend to quit being creepy." river said, giving Joaquín's friend a strange look.
"Stop it, Mike," Joaquin said. joaquin shifted his gaze to his friend.
Kimberley blinked open her eyes slightly,
"Please tell me you aren't going to wash those bedsheets ."
I noticed River giving Mike a stern look.
"Tell your weird friend to go home," River muttered dryly as he watched his brother and friend walk away before turning back to wake up Kim.
Before River woke Kim up, a sweet voice remarked, "I think you have an good shot with her."
River spun around as he noticed his sister standing in the doorway.
"I'm not sure," River scratched his neck.
Rain, his sister, suggested that he ask her out before going away.
For a little while, river paused. he looked as if was lost in thought.
Before continuing on to wake Kim up,
He shook her gently and said, "Hey, wake up."
Kimberly pretended to be startled
"It's okay, it's just me," he assured her quietly.
"How long have i been asleep?" she asked Before getting up,
"Maybe an hour?" "But, I've finished the work." he replied as he sat on his bed
"Thank you, you didn't have to." she said
He smiled back at, and she grinned back at him.
"I should probably get back," she said while she slid the blanket away from her body and headed up to her bag, which was stuffed with her belongings.
"I'll take you home." Following her acts, he stated,
"I live next door," she replied with a chuckle.
"Yeah, but my mom would want me to, and anything could happen,"he grinned
