Jean's pov

We arrived at the place I went to last night and I found out why the fencing had a glass-like texture to it, they were made of blue moonstones, well Mikasa pointed that out and the house itself was made with Angel Aria quartz Mike opened the gates, which had a massive B in the middle, it seemed like he was familiar with the place when we reached the house, Mike knocked on the door

It opened and we were greeted by two younger girls who had black hair, brown eyes and freckles.

They squealed "Uncle Mike"

He said picking them "Saturn and Venus, how are you girls doing?"

One girl said excitedly "we are doing good but Mars"

The other one said like a 5-year-old telling a scary story "Mars fought in the battle of Trost"

"He was in the jaw of those giant naked monsters, what are they called again, Titans he was in the jaw of one of those"

The two girls kept telling stories about how their older brother Mars was a hero in the battle of Trost, but something they said caught my attention

One of the girls said in a giggly tone "and ever since he came home he has been writing love letters"

The other girls said in a shocked tone "and they are for a boy. Marco says he is immature"

The other girl said putting her hand in Infront of her mouth "and an ass"

Mike's eyes widened he said in a stern voice "Miss Venues June Bodt, watch that potty mouth of yours"

Venues giggled and said "Marco said he is a butt"

Mike sighed and rolled his eyes Eren grabbed my arm tightly he whispered "you heard the girls Marco is still alive"

I whispered back yanking my arm away "those two are just little girls, the death of Marco probably hasn't sunk in and they are still acting like he is alive"

The girls kept giggling and talking about Marco, Eren let go of my arm.

He said softly "maybe your right, they are little Afterall, they wouldn't know the concept of death"

Erwin ordered us to go and search around the house for anything suspicious then we heard what sounded like porcelain breaking we ran down to the kitchen and saw cracked obsidian tiles with what were floral porcelain plates, chairs are thrown around but the marble dining table was still in place we looked around very slowly so we wouldn't miss anything.

When we entered the living room and before we started looking we heard some crashing upstairs we ran back to the entrance and climbed the stairs up to there we saw a door that was slightly cracked opened.

Eren and I got closer and saw Bertholdt rummaging through the draws and cupboards like he was robbing the place he was throwing pieces of folded paper around.

But me and Eren being the dumbasses we were we just thought nothing of it and went back downstairs.

"Sasha where did you find this"

Eren and I looked behind us and Sasha gave Erwin a note, she pointed to a rose quartz door with a clear doorknob we all ran to it.

Erwin opened the door and to our shock, Reiner let go of someone's neck, I looked down and saw... MARCO BODT IS ALIVE.

I ran to him, my heart racing 300 miles per second I asked with my voice shaking "Marco are you alright"

He looked up at me with those gorgeous brown eyes

He said calmly "I am now, Jean"

Then something hit my head

I looked up hearing Bertholdt saying "Reiner, Marco lied to us it's not in his-"

He saw me and his face went pale

Marco chuckled "I guess in the end, I ended up having the last laugh, this all a plot to have you two caught and soon to be executed so if U have any questions I will gladly answer"

Reiner asked with his voice shaking "Marco how did u know all this would happen"

Marco replied saying it was just dumb luck, but I thought he had a foolproof plan that just went sideways

Erwin asked while arresting Reiner "so where does the note come in?"

Marco replied getting up "well I was hoping to run past Jean and give him the note since I can trust him"

He had me at 'I can trust him' the fact he trusted me just slowed down my heartbeat and calmed me down and to be honest Marco to me is my ride or die I would always leave my life in his hands cause he would always know what to do yea couple of his plans went sideways today but they still caught the Armour and colossal titan in the end.

Marco caught up with our other friends but, after taking down the colossal and the Armour titan the notes Bertholdt dropped, I couldn't help myself but take them all. What they all had 'for Jean' on them.

I just stuffed them in my pockets and after I collected them all I ran after Marco, I put my arm around him and we spoke for a while, that's when I noticed there was a light red tinge showing on Marco's face where is freckles were, in my opinion, I thought it was cute, overall I think he is cute.

While talking Mike came up to us while holding a baby

Mike asked "uh Marco, which baby is this, I keep thinking it's Mercury"

He replied with a warm smile "that's Apollo, the one Mikasa has is Mercury"

Christa said in a babyish voice "they are so effing cute"

And the girls were just playing with Marco's younger siblings that were toddlers or babies

I asked with general curiosity "So Marco how many siblings do U have cause you seem to have a lot"

Marco said rubbing the back of his neck "if U count my adopted brother Axel there is 11 in total but I'd ask for the ones my mother pushed out than 10"

My eyes widened I yelled "say that again boy"

He giggled and said "U heard it the first time around but Mom suspects that she is pregnant again, but it was a conversation I overheard with her and dad"

I replied immaturity "Sounds like your parents get quite busy"

Marco's eyes widened he hit me in the back of the head and said in a stern voice "Jean stop being so immature"

I replied defensively "that's not what I meant when I mean by that, I meant that they get busy looking after your siblings"

He rolled his eyes and said "whatever Jean... But they usually put it on me"

I replied jokingly "so I now see why U wanted to join the military police, to get away from your parents giving you more siblings"

He stopped and looked my in my eye than he smacked my nose which caused it to bleed

He said jokingly but disgusted at the same time "you seriously need to hear yourself, you sound so immature"

I went behind Marco and wrapped my arms around him and said in his ear in a loving tone "and that's why you love your BFF A K A me"

Than his face reddened again and he giggled than I heard Connie yelled "Marco, Jean, If ur gonna kiss just do it privately"

Marco and I looked at Connie wide eyed

Marco yelled in his usual cute voice "Connie it's not like that all Jean and I are just friends"

Levi came from behind Connie he said in a plan tone "that's what I said about me and Erwin and guess, he now wants to get Married and have kids"

I said in mine and Marco's defence "well me and Marco are strictly friends"

Levi looked at us in disbelief he chuckled "that's what about me and Erwin"

And he walked off, Marco and I were taken from his words
