Marco's pov

The survey corps was bringing Dad back and once we saw him again, we hugged him and I apologize for getting him arrested.

Before the survey corps left Uncle Mike asked one last time "Marco are you sure U don't want to join the survey corps after you did us a huge favour of taking down the Armour and colossal titan"

Levi added "for all we know, we need your intelligence and your quick thinking for making backups"

I rolled my eyes and said "y'all got Armin"

Jean put his arms around me he said in a sulking manner "so I am not good enough for you"

I rolled my eyes playfully and said with a smile "alright"

He grabbed my hands and dragged me to the horse carriage he said "we can share my clothes I have plenty anyway"

I said groaning playfully "Jean people are gonna think we are a couple"

Jean looked me in the eye and said "your clothes look expensive, we will not risk them getting ruined, your family is filthy rich bro"

I said in my family's defence "well we are not like stereotypical rich people and you know my true personality, money can change people but we aren't those people to us friendship and family is always first"

It was quiet on Jean's end I said his name hoping he would respond, then he pulled my hand towards him, our lips almost touching

He said excitedly "and that's why we are taking you away from hot stuff"

And he just left me on the spot hoping I would follow, at this point my face must've been blood red

He turned and asked putting his hands in his pocket and smiling "freckled Angel you comin'"

I said stuttering "uh yes I am"

I followed him crossing my arms nervously, we got in and things seemed to be awkward, Eren, Armin and Jean were talking

I was sitting under a tree talking to Eren about Trost

Then out of the blue, I asked shamefully "Eren can you keep a secret?"

He looked at me and said "uh, yea"

I said shamefully "I like Jean"

"Huh"

"Like, like Jean"

"Marco what do you mean"

I buried my head in my knees and said almost crying "I have a crush on Jean, but he likes Mikasa"

It was quiet for a while then I felt a hand on my shoulder, Eren's voice said reassuring me

"Well I think he lied about liking Mikasa, I think he was about to say Marco then quickly changed to Mikasa because it's not common for a man to be in love with a man and he just wanted to fit in"

I smiled looking up at Eren "that's all we can hope for"

Eren said in an immature way "well I'm surprised that someone has a crush but no surprise that it's you"

And he started laughing at me I got up and walked away feeling sick in my stomach and my heart racing, tears about to come out of my eyes. It felt so humiliating, Eren was right about one thing it's not common for a man to be in love with another man

I heard Eren yelling in the distance "come on Marco don't take it so hard"

That made those feelings worse. I ran to my cabin so close to crying that I came across mine and Jean's Cabin and walked in flopped on my bed, hugging a pillow letting all my feelings out but somehow I fell asleep again

4 hours later I woke up to Being shaken awake by Jean

He said softly "come on it's dinner time"

I reluctantly got up and went to the dining hall, it was noisy but not as noisy as it was back at the 104th I sat next to Jean and across from Connie and Sasha

I was eating as quickly as I could so and avoiding conversation, so I can go back to sleep than

Some little brat said in taunting way "Hey, Jean I know something you"

Jean got up from his seat and said with an angry tone "so you decided to pick another fight?"

Hange walked in they asked in a stern voice "what is it with the noise, I'm trying to hear Erwin and Levi"

I said in scared tone "Hange you are a creep"

They screamed with impatience "hurry up and tell me"

I said yawning "Eren farted"

Hange disappeared

Eren yelled "hey, fa-"

And before he finished his sentence I got up and kicked him in the stomach and blood came out of his mouth

He yelled "At least I'm not into bo-"

I stomped on his nuts as hard as I could

Than asked in a disgust voice "so Eren do you know who helped you catch the Armour and colossal titan... Oh I forgot it was me, maybe you should know your place and me some respect"

And I walked out going back to bed
