"Aw..." Pico was looking at Ben sleeping peacefully, he couldn't help but caress his cheek making Ben open his eyes. "Sorry I didn't mean to wake you." "It's fine." Ben placed both of his hands on Picos hand that was resting on his cheek and gave a warm smile causing Pico to turn red a little. "How long have you been up?" "Over a hour... I think." Pico responded. "Are you ok?" Ben said with a worried tone of voice. "Yeah just thinking is all." Ben gave a worried look. "Don't worry Softie I'm fine I promise." Pico smiled and moved his hand on his soft blue hair stroking it. "Ok." Ben sat up, Pico leaned in and Ben followed soon sharing a tender kiss. When they got out of bed they ate breakfast and got ready to head out. "Hey Pico how do I look?" Pico turned red.

"Pico?" Pico was too stunned to respond. "... Does it look bad?" Ben frowned. "N-No it's just that..." Pico walked over to Ben and pulled him closer. "You look amazing." Pico gave Ben gentle pecks on his neck. "P-Pico." Ben giggled. They left a few minutes later, they were walking downtown holding hands.
Pico POV Aw he's so cute, what is he looking at- oh fuck not again please. "Look at how adorable they are!" He was about to run off but I grabbed his hand preventing him from doing so. "No, not again softie." "Ah right sorry." We went in the store, his eyes lit up seeing all of the different plushies. He picked up a grey cat plushie with a red bow around its neck. "You want that one?" "Ah- n-no..." "B." Softie looked up at me. "You're a bad liar you know." "E-Eh?" "Let's go pay for it." He shook his head, I sighed and grabbed the plushie from his hands. "Softie it's ok you can have it." "You don't have to pay for it..." We've been dating for how long now and he's worried about that? "Babe you're my boyfriend and I like spoiling you so it's fine really." He sighed and gave in. "Ok..." We went up to the counter and paid for it and walked out the store, "Can we go in there?" Softie pointed to another store. "Sure." When we went inside he picked up something. "What did you get?" "N-Nothing let's go to the counter! Ah wait." Softie pulled my bandana over my eyes, "Um softie why did you do that?" "I can't let you see it's a surprise." He grabbed my hand and when he took the bandana off my eyes we were outside the store. "Pico." Softie turned red and averted his eyes, he held out a black bandana with a heart crossed out.
Pico took the bandana and looked at it, Ben slowly looked back at Pico. He took off the one he was wearing and put on the one Ben got for him. "I love it thanks softie." Pico pulled the bandana down and smiled. Bens frown turned into a sweet smile, the couple continued walking, they stopped at a candy store and after went to the park. "B say ah." "Ah." Pico put the chocolate in Bens mouth. "Is it good?" "Mhm!" "You're such a cutie." Pico pat Bens head. "Aw your adorable too." Pico chuckled. "Um..." "What's wrong?" "P-pocky..." Ben mumbled though Pico heard him. "Oh you want some? Here." Pico handed him the box. Ben took one out and turned extremely red. "P-Pico..." Ben put one side in his mouth. Pico was confused at first but got what Ben wanted him to do, he turned red and put the other side in his mouth. Ben started biting his side and Pico followed, Ben closed his eyes and they soon stopped. Ben made the first move, he ate the rest of his side of the pocky and kissed Pico. He let go quickly and opened his eyes seeing Pico red. "Um-" Ben was cut off by Picos lips touching his. Pico put a hand on his waist and pulled him closer, he put his other hand on Bens cheek. A few minutes later he let go and kept his hand on his cheek, Pico laughed seeing his face like that. "P-Pico!" "I'm sorry I couldn't help it, plus you made the first move." Pico chuckled. Ben covered his face with his hands. "Ok sweetheart here." Ben moved his hands and saw Pico with a pocky in his hand. He was about to take it but Pico moved it away. "Say ah." "A-ah." Pico put it in his mouth. "Hold on." Pico took out his phone and took a picture. "Hehe I got a new wallpaper." "A-again..." "Yep." Pico snickered. They left the park and went to a cafe, Ben got a cup of hot chocolate. "You didn't get anything?" "Nah." "Here." Ben handed him candy canes. "Thanks." After a hour of sitting in the cafe they left and started walking again. "Hey softie I want to take you somewhere." "Where?" "It's a surprise, close your eyes." Ben closed them and Pico held his hand, ten minutes passed. "Are we there yet?" "Almost." A minute later they arrived. "Ok you can open your eyes now." Ben opened his eyes and they lit up at the beautiful scenery ahead of them, it was a cherry blossom tree on a hill surrounded by a lake. "Woah." "Cool right?" "Mhm!" They went up the hill and sat in front of the tree. "This would've been amazing to paint." "Next time you can, I thought you would love it and I was right. "There's a next time?" "You bet." Ben smiled and layed down on Picos lap, Pico ran his fingers in his hair. Ben felt relaxed and went to sleep, Pico did as well.
Pico woke up and checked the time. "8:30 we should head back." Pico gently shook him. "Babe we should start heading home." "Mm ok..." Pico moved some of Bens hair that was covering his eye, Ben sat up and rubbed his eyes. Pico stood up and held his hand out, Ben gladly took it. After walking for a while Pico felt a drop. "It's drizzling, I'm sure it'll be fine-" You know in those romance movies how it rains and they walk through the rain? Well that's not what happened to our couple. "We're almost there." Pico held Bens hand as they ran through the rain back to their place. Pico opened the door and they went inside. "Meow!" Trashi ran up to them. "Hey Trashi." Ben started petting him. "I'm gonna turn the shower on for you." Pico took off his jacket and bandana and went in the bathroom. "Ok." After Ben got in Pico got in, when Pico got out he went to their room and saw Ben on the bed laying down playing with Trashi. Pico smiled and layed down next to him, Trashi got off the bed and went to sleep. "Did you have fun today?" "Yeah, did you?" Ben layed on top of Pico. "Yeah." Pico put his arms around him. "Though we got soaked." Ben giggled. "Yep, but I wouldn't change today for anything." "Eh, not even the part with us getting caught in the rain?" "I wouldn't change a thing." Ben suddenly frowned. "Have you ever... regretted being with me?" "What of course not, why are you asking me that?!" Pico got worried. "Because you're with me you have to deal with my parents and we constantly have to run away..." Ben started crying. "Ben look at me." Ben looked up at Pico teary eyed. "I love you baby blue, dealing with your parents is annoying and so is running away but it's worth it to keep you safe." Pico smiled, he put a hand on Bens cheek and he locked his hand in between Bens.

"I want to spend the rest of my life with you, your precious to me and I'll always protect you." Pico wiped his tears and kissed his forehead. "I love you too." Ben smiled. They leaned in closer closing their eyes and they kissed, after a while they let go of each other. "I'll always love and be there for you don't forget ok?" "Ok." Ben kept his smile and fell asleep on Pico. "Good night sweetheart." Pico rested his hand on Bens head and fell asleep.
