CHAPTER IIIThis had been a hectic day. A day he would've never wanted to live. Clearly, that was not possible.
Always harassed by his father. Watched. One wrong move and he gets yelled at. One wrong move and he gets scolded like a four year old child who can't seem to understand that throwing spaghetti on the ceiling isn't a good thing to do.
After a day that seemed so long, he couldn't go home. He felt like his brain would explode.
He goes up to his car-precious gift from his father-and drives to the nearest Pub, where he meets up with his best friend, a lawyer who had just graduated and was currently working on a case of divorce. The case of Katherine's mom, a ten year old little girl.
He sits beside his friend who can see his absent looks.
How could his mind be present if his soul was with her?
