He couldn't get her out of his mind. The past week had been crazy; half of the time he tried to ignore her and the other half he tried focusing on Marie-Helene, his girlfriend.
They were going to get married in two years, right after he would finish school. This had been planned twenty-two years ago.
Before they were even born, their parents swore these two kids would get married when they got older. Believe it or not, he fell right into their trap. After spending fifteen summers at the lake house, he fell for her. They were so in love that their parents didn't even have to force them to be together.
Until he met her.
After all, maybe their parents would have to take matters into their own hands.
