21. Attempt #1

No one's POV

"Hey." Lisa greets the Korean, placing an arm around her.

"Oh, uh hi Lisa-shi." The confused cat gives her a small smile, Seulgi and Jisoo look at them weirded out.

"What the f-" Before Jisoo can curse, Chaeyoung quickly slaps her mouth, glaring at the girl.

"Want to get some coffee?" Lisa asked the petite girl, offering her a friendly smile.

"Sure?" She hesitantly answers, but happily accepts the offer.

Seulgi was observing the both of them exchange words, she knew the Thai wasn't the type of person who would take the first step so she was skeptical.

"What's wrong?" A cold voice from behind asked, Seulgi hastily turns around in shock.

Her face was inches away from Bae Irene, she felt like pissing her pants.

"Nothing." A flustered Seulgi runs away and clings onto Jisoo. Irene sharply stares at the girls' backs and proceeds to talk to Chaeyoung.

As they walk to the coffee shop near the campus, Jennie felt the girl remove her arm and softly held her hand.

Jennie stares at Lisa, shocked, confused, and flustered, very flustered. The Thai just simply smiles at the girl.

Lisa's pov

"What do you guys want to order? My treat." I asked as I search through my pockets, searching for my wallet.

"Just get us anything, Dongsang." Jisoo smirks at me, I boringly stare at her. As everyone agrees with the ugly duckling, I got to the cashier to order the drinks.

"Can I get 6 mocha lattes'?" I hurriedly asked the cashier, placing the 1,197 won on the table.

The woman nods constantly before disappearing with 6 cups in her arms.

As I waited for the coffee to arrive, I look at the big clock displayed next to the menu, the poison mixture will melt soon, I don't have much time left. "Hey, can you please speed it up?" I asked the same girl.

She gives a stretched smile before getting busy again, wiping her sweat off her forehead. My fingers tap on the counter, getting worried.

I sneakily check in my pockets for the bottle, the mixture is diluting, the poison may not work if the coffee isn't here in a few more minutes.

"Hello, ma'am?" I hastily hid the poison in my palm under the pockets and looked up, the coffees were ready.

"Thanks." I quickly grabbed one of the paper cups and took out the solution, opening the glass lid before hesitatingly pouring a small amount of the poison in the dink.

"Lisa-yah?" I heard a soft angelic voice behind me, I quickly put the glass container full of poison back in my pocket. I turned around to see the innocent Jennie smiling at me, questioning me.

"Oh hi." I masked my nervousness with a happy grin, but my breathing pace said otherwise. But the girl's smile fades as she saw my hands holding the tray full of drinks. "Here let me help you."

"Oh no, no."

"Please?"

I sigh, "fine, here, you can hold your cup." I painfully gave her the cup I put the poison in.

As we both walked to our table, sitting on our seats. I watch as Jennie gave each person their cup of coffee, smiling at them. At last, she gives me my cup, giving me a pure smile.

As guilt ran through my veins, I watch the girl pick up her cup of coffee where I dropped the poison.

I drink my coffee as I watch in terror when her perfectly plump lips were only a few inches from the open lid, she had really nice lips. Damn it, not right now.

When she placed her lips on the lid, I couldn't take it anymore, the guilt was washing over me, I fake sneezed and hit the cup away with my elbow.

I heard the girl next to me gasp in shock, "What the hell Lis? Be careful! It almost landed on Ms.Kim!" Jisoo scolds me, pointing her finger at me.

Seulgi raises her eyebrows at me, I knew that Seulgi was smarter than the dumb chicken, she easily caught on.

I nod my head in confirmation, she just nods back, unknowing to us, a certain petite woman was shooting stares at us, observing every movement.

"It's okay Lis, I guess I won't be having coffee in the morning." She tries to laugh it off, but I could tell she was disappointed or was she?

"Here have mine." I hand her my coffee, forgetting about how I had drank it already.

She glances at the coffee then at me, suddenly she gives me a soft smile before accepting my coffee.

I smile back, turning away and looking around my surroundings. Wait, did I give her my coffee?

My eyes widened. "Wait I alre-".

It was too late, the girl had placed her lips on my lipstick stain.

I blushed madly, who wouldn't?

The oblivious girl just looked at me innocently, I suddenly heard giggling from the opposite side of the table.

I glared at the two ugly ducklings, I stomp on their feet under the table.

"Ow!" Jisoo hisses, glaring back at me.

"Ugh, my feet feels so tight like Jisoo's mom." Seulgi curses while holding her foot.

"Oh shut up you!" As the 2 bickered, I stare at the girl next to me who was laughing loudly, she was more than beautiful.

But soon my lovingly smile turned upside down when I realised.
