No one's pov'

Lisa Manoban, for the first time in years, cried, hard.

She was alone in her bedroom, she could hear the loud music from her headphones, blast through her ears.

The sun was going down, the dark blue sky was showing as the moon was rising.

She had never felt this way, ever in her life. She didn't even know why she was crying, Yeji and Lisa weren't on good terms, to be exact.

They had a love-hate relationship, very cheesy. Yeji and Lisa did create a strong bond, their story sounded like a script from a corny 2000s romance film.

Lisa wouldn't have cried if they hadn't silently settled the rivalry and become teasing buddies. Sure, maybe they didn't talk and settle it down psychically. But Lisa saw Yeji's soft spot, and Yeji saw hers.

The memories flooded her mind, this is how devastation feels? Lisa asked mentally.

Lisa sighed, she had no time to mourn over someone, that's not what Yeji would want.

She wiped her wet tears and snot with one of the used tissues on her bed.

Lisa sits up and stretches her body when suddenly, her phone buzzes.

She looks at the name of the caller,

Jennie

She clears her throat and then answers the call.

"Hello?" Lisa's hoarse and drained voice was evident.

"Hi, Lisa! Are you okay?" Jennie's cheerful voice made the Thai smile a bit.

"I'm fine, just something. Why'd you call?" Lisa asked, rubbing her tired eye.

"Oh, just wanted to thank you again for the coffee. Thank you, really." Jennie thanks her through the phone.

"Jennie I told you, it's okay. Stop thanking me." Lisa chuckles.

"Uh, Lisa?" Jennie asked.

"Yeah?"

"I also called to ask if you uh... heard about the news..?" Lisa's smile dropped.

"I know how close you and Yeji were, I'm sorry.." The sympathy in her voice made Lisa's heart flutter.

She really was an angel...

"Yep I did, it's okay. I'm doing okay." Lies.

"I'm glad to hear that! Will you come to the funeral tomorrow? Everyone is busy on that day, would you accompany me?" Lisa could imagine the girl pouting.

"Why not?" Lisa smiles.

"Gosh thank you! I thought I would be going alone, the funereal would be already depressing enough."  Lisa laughs.

"No probs Jen, talk to you later."

"Bye Lisa."

Lisa cuts the phone and smiled warmly at the blank screen,"at least I have Jennie."

She checks herself in the mirror before going out to the living room.

Jisoo and Seulgi were already there, eating some instant noodles. They both looked up to the Thai who had puffy eyes and still sniffing.

"Hey Lis, eat with us." Jisoo gives a genuine smile, pointing to the seat next to her.

Lisa returns a smile and goes over to sit next to her, Lisa looks at the extra cup of noodles which has not been eaten yet.

"Is this mine?" Lisa asked pointing at it, Seulgi hums in response, her mouth full of the noodles.

"Sorry if it's a bit puffy, we made it minutes ago." Jisoo apologizes to the Thai, "I don't mind." She answered back.

Lisa quickly slurps the noodles, her tongue felt numb.

There was a long, comforting silence for a minute or so. "Well.." Seulgi breaks the silence, glancing at the two younger girls in front of her.

"Are you guys coming to funereal?" Seulgi asked, looking back down at her cold noodles.

"I don't think I can make it, tomorrow I have to go to work," Jisoo answered, her boss had changed her shift from Saturday to Sunday.

Seulgi looks at her displeased, "Just quit that 711 job already, it doesn't pay well and besides, Jackson can cover our expenses." Jisoo sighs.

"Well, my parents don't know that, If they find out, they will assume Jackson is some sugar daddy and kick me out of the house. But also, I want to know how it feels to work and get paid."

Seulgi sighs and gives up trying to help the younger girl, "How about you, Lis?"

"I'm free I guess," Lisa replies, not looking up and continuing to eat her noodles.

"I'm planning to go too, let's go together?" Jisoo invites the Thai, not knowing that the girl has other plans.

"Sorry chu, I'm planning to go with Jennie." Lisa apologizes which made the two look up at her.

Lisa felt the two older girls stare at her, "what?"

Seulgi and Jisoo both stare at each other before smirking mischievously, "Jennie and Lisa, sitting on a tree, K-I-S-S-"

"Finish that and I will break your arm, both of you." Lisa glares at the two childish girls, the two immediately stopped teasing their youngest and kept on slurping the noodles.

Letting out a few snorts and small giggles every 2 seconds, Lisa rolled her eyes.

"Whatever, I'm done, eat faster you tortoises." Lisa stood up and went back to her room, "Hey! How old do you think you are?!" "I'm a turtle, you freak!" the two yelled at her.

Lisa smirks in victory and shuts the door behind her, she lays in her bed and lets out a satisfied moan.

She then sighed and stared at the ceiling, in darkness.

"Welp, another person from my life, dead."
