As I stood in front of the sink doing the dishes, I could hear billie playing cod in the living room.
Flash was asleep by my feet and I could hear her slightly snoring.
A sudden pain in my back made me seethe through my teeth and brace myself against the counter.
"Fuck." I whispered.
I shut my every tightly and exhaled before feeling a tap on my shoulder.
"What?" I rushed out. "You okay baby-?" Billies voice rung.
I nodded and leaned my head back, feeling two arms snake around my waist.
Billies hands reached under my stomach to hold it up, making me moan and make my head fall back against Billies shoulder.
She giggled and kissed the side of my head before placing her head on top of mine.
"We gotta have a baby shower." Billie whispered quietly. "Call Claudia, I know she's good with that shit." I replied. - - - As I lay in bed with Billie, her hand slowly moved up and down my stomach.
I had about three wishes in that moment. The first, is that I wanted to meet our baby. The second, is that I've needed to pee for the last couple minutes. And the third one is that I wanted Billies hand to go just a little bit further down.
Billie was playing some game on her phone and I was just thinking.
'Tangled' played quietly in the background and Billie rested her hand on my stomach and looked up at me before returning to her game.
Once I decided I was done with billies teasing, even if she wasn't doing it on purpose, I placed my hand on hers and moved it further down my stomach.
Billie raised her head from her phone and looked at me.
"Baby?" She asked. "Hm?" I replied.
She licked her lips and peered down at my hand, which was guiding hers in between my thighs.
"You good?" She asked.
I stared at her for a good 20 seconds before looking down at her hand.
I bit my lip and Billie toyed with the waistband of my shorts.
The sound of the doorbell made me groan dramatically and throw my head back.
"Oh my god, that's a little overdone don't you think." Billie said, getting out of our bed.
She walked out of our room and I heard the door open, followed by Claudias voice and the door closing.
I decided to get up, the dogs following behind me. When I got to the bottom of the staircase Claudia and Billie were talking in the kitchen.
"Sorry I look like shit right now." I spoke. "Don't even worry about it." Claudia said.
I hugged her and took a seat at the kitchen island.
"Do you want a specific theme or anything?" She asked.
I shook my head no and she nodded.
"So a simple blue and pink?" She asked. "Can we just do a solid white?" I asked.
Claudia nodded with a smile and typed it into her phone.
"You guys know the gender already, right?" Claudia asked. "We do. We just want to do a reveal for everyone else." Billie spoke.
Claudia nodded again and turned to me.
"Alright. What kind of reveal do you want to do?" She asked. "Literally just a simple blue or pink cake. I don't want to make it a huge thing." I said.
Claudia smiled and we continued talking for a while. - - - Billie shifted on top of me, her breath tickling my neck as she slept quietly.
The soft, kitten like snores made me smile and wrap my arm around her shoulder.
Billie whimpered softly and I could feel her print against my thigh.
I looked down at her and flipped her carefully onto her back.
After I knew she wasn't gonna wake up, I went to the bathroom to take a shower, because i knew if I told her, she would want to take one with me.
I turned the water on and let it warm up while I undressed. But when I turned around to get in, Billie stood in the doorway.
"Jesus fucking Christ." I yelped. "Sorry. Can I join?" Billie asked. "No Billie." I said.
Billie hopped up onto the counter and I gave her a quick peck before opening the glass door to the shower and stepping in.
"Can we name the baby Odis?" Billie asked.
I kinda paused what I was doing for a minute and then turned my head to crack the shower door.
"Why Odis?" I asked. "I don't know. I just thought it would fit well." Billie replied.
I flashed a smile before sliding the door again and continuing my shower.
"How's your back?" Billie asked. "Fucking hurts like hell." I replied with a groan. - - - Billie messily massaged the black hair dye into her hair while the i wrapped a towel around her shoulders.
"Is the back covered?" Billie asked, turning to me. "Finish the rest." I spoke. "What if I keep it half? Like, a split die." Billie replied. "What if you don't like it?" I asked.
Billie pursed her lips to the side and turned to me.
"Then I'll just die the rest." Billie said, shrugging.
