ashley pov:

aj slept in his chair in the living room as i washed dishes and cleaned up the house a bit.

i'm coming home today
i should be there like 5 pm

i smiled and texted back an okay before setting my phone back down to cleaning.

being without billie for weeks has been torture, mostly for the sex part but other than that i do miss being around her in general.

i heard a knock at the door and dried off my hands before going to answer it.

it was too early to be billie, and i haven't updated any of my friends on my address so i was confused when i walked over to the door.

i cracked the door and looked out and saw an old friend of mine on the porch.

"sierra?" i asked.
"oh my god, you are ashley?" she said.
"yea. how did you know i live here?" i asked again.
"i've been seeing shawn leave the house and kinda just assumed you were here with him." she said.
"oh, me and my girlfriend live here with our son now, but he's been watching the house for us." i explained.

she nodded and i allowed her to come inside and shut the door behind her.

"you have a girlfriend? and a son?" she asked.
"yea, my girlfriend is out of town but she'll be home later, and my kid is sleeping in his crib" i said.

sierra asked to see aj and i guided her into his room.

"he's adorable" she said and looked at his freckles.
"what about you? do you have a boyfriend? or a girlfriend? kids?" i asked.

she shook her head no, which was surprising because sierra is very attractive.

it was around 5 pm and me and sierra have been catching up for a bit and having a drink.

"remember in 8th grade when we kissed tho" sierra asked.

i nodded with a chuckled and stared into her eyes across the counter.

we were in a comfortable silence and were somewhat just enjoying each others presence but i couldn't tear my eyes away from hers.

my eyes quickly glanced down at her lips and saw as she licked them.

"baby!" i heard, followed by the door closing.

both me and sierra turned our heads and stared at billie while she side eyed sierra

"your dating billie eilish?!" sierra yelled, turning her head to look at me.

i ignored her and jumped up from the counter to hug billie.

"who's that?" billie whispered when i hugged her.
"my friend sierra baby, i missed you." i said kissing her cheek.

she kept staring at sierra and didn't enjoy the hug.

"excuse you." i said and grabbed her chin to look at me.

she finally looked in my eyes and smiled.

i said goodbye to sierra and shut the door behind her while billie cleaned our glasses from the drinks we had.

"how do you know her?" billie questioned. with quite an attitude might i mention.
"she's just an old friend from middle school." i explained and paused.

"you weren't jealous were you?" i asked.

billie scoffed and looked at me.

"how could i not be? you were looking at her like she was the only girl in the world." billie said.
