i woke up to an empty bed, shark was placed at the foot of me and ashley's shared bed, snoring loudly.

"baby?" i yelled.
"i'm downstairs!" ashley replied.

i yawned and stretched out my arms before making my way out of bed.

"morning sharky" i said, kissing his head.

i pissed, washed my hands and face, brushed my teeth, and quickly did my skincare before leaving the bathroom and going downstairs.

"morning baby" i said once ashley came into sight.
"morning." she replied dryly.

i furrowed my eyebrows and walked up to the couch where she was seated.

"are you mad at me?" i questioned.

she shook her head and kept her gaze on the tv while flipping through random movies.

i assumed she was just on her period so i walked into aj's room to see if he was awake and change his diaper.

he was lying down on his bed, barely awake but i knew that he was finally up for the day.

"hi sweet boy" i said with a smile.

i grabbed him and placed him on his changing table while grabbing a diaper and baby wipes.

aj was sat on the floor, playing on a mat with some random toys. while ashley was baking cupcakes in the kitchen. ashley's an amazing baker and i honestly have thought about asking her to sell her shit.

i was seated next to him, tickling his back. he let out a small laugh and smiled at me.

"baby!" i smiled.

i quickly took a picture with my phone and then turned all my attention back to aj.

i made random noises with my mouth while he continued smiling at me, letting out more little giggles and laughs.

i could see ashley in the corner of my eye smiling down on us.

"i think he's feeling better" i said to ashley, grabbing hold of aj's hands.

while holding his hands, i kissing his small fingers, making him let out another small laugh.

ashley was taking a video of the entire thing, while smiling and laughing with aj.

"hi!" i spoke in a high pitched voice to aj while he stared at me with his gorgeous blue eyes and freckled covered cheeks.

his laugh this time seemed to come out more as a coo.

my smile widened and i said it again, making him do the same thing.

ashley walked around the couch and sat down while pulling out her phone again to take another video.

"you should open a bakery." i blurted out to ashley.

ashley quickly looked down on me, where my head rested in her lap.

aj was taking a nap and we were watching movies in the living room on the couch.

"what? why?" ashley said.
"oh i don't know, maybe because i combust everytime i have one of your cupcakes" i explained.

ashley giggled and kissed my forehead.

"there's an opening for a small restaurant down a couple minutes away. we should go check it out." i said.

ashley agreed with me and we called up the realtor for the bakery sized space.

"hi! we were just wondering if we could go check out the building on east and third." i said.
"yes! what were you hoping to use it for?" she asked.
"my girlfriend is a great baker and i'm trying to convince her to open up her own bakery." i explained.
"of course! it's a great space, the last tenant left in a hurry so theres cooking essentials left in there." she spoke.
"that's perfect, can we come see it later today?" i asked.
