[Valentines Special]

A/N

Sorry that this is a bit late (to some people and me) I quite literally fell asleep on my chair while writing this.

So, I've had this interest in soulmate thingy, it's probably old, but I've always been one who liked soulmate stuff, so this is, I guess, my final special before the book ends.

I think this book will end in 2? 3? Chapters? We'll see. Also, don't worry but there's still a sequel. I mean I wanted to out it here too but it just didn't feel right.

Now please enjoy your special. Happy reading! <3

In here, Takemichi and everyone else are sophomores and juniors. I don't know how it works for you guys but I just did my research, the sophomore thing doesn't have much of an emphasis, just remember they are 15-16-17

Soulmates are something that everyone has. It's quite rare for a person not to have a soulmate but it happens, some though, upon finding out, falls into deep despair and was never able to get out of it. Eventually, they end their lives, most people have come to the conclusion that if you don't have a soulmate, they are either dead or don't exist.

How do people know that that person is their soulmate? It's quite simple actually, by someone's 14th birthday, they receive a soul mark. Their soulmate also has the same mark and it's usually in a visible spot, the neck or arm is an example. The moment they meet them, their soul mark will give a unique glow only soulmates can have and if they touch, it would send an electric jolt on both bodies.

Everyone has soulmates, except for Takemichi but it never really troubled him.

When takemichi turned 14, he wasn't really excited for his soul mark. He never really liked the thought of fate choosing for him, he told himself that he wants to choose his soulmate and not some rando. Wish come true I guess as when he turned 14, he didn't receive a soul mark. He was secretly happy but his parents didn't like that so they made him live on his own.

Takemichi didn't mind, he never really liked his parents in the first place, they never paid attention to him and he was always neglected so when they practically kicked him out, he wasn't bothered. He liked it that way actually. No one will bother him, not now, not ever.

"Takemichi! Hey! Over here!" Akkun waved at Takemichi as he and his other friends, Yamagishi, Takuya, and Makoto, sat on the canteen table.

Takemichi walked to their table and greeted them.

"Hey, how was the first day in second year." Takemichi started.

"Terrible! Teacher already assigned us for group work." Takuya grumbled.

"Nah! Ours are pretty chill, not too much work." Akkun grinned.

"Lucky little shits, me and Yamagishi already have work and this are all just 1st period. How unlucky." Makoto sighed as he sulked with Takuya and Yamagishi.

Takemichi laughed at his friend's silliness.

"We didn't have much to do anyway. People were just asking each other for soul marks." Takemichi butted in.

"Ooh! Speaking of soul marks, I heard the popular guy already had a soulmate, since childhood! Not only that, there isn't just one soulmate, they are multiple soulmates!" Yamagishi gossiped.
