[Regret part 1]

-Takemichi pov-

Morning...

"...chy" a person called out as they shook me but I just groaned and moved my blanket closer to my face.

"Mitchy..." they called out once more but once again I ignored it as I was sleepy.

Ugh... no leave me and my pancakes alone...

"MITCHY!" a loud voice boomed beside me, startling me and in result I fell off the bed on my back.

"Ugh... Ow, I'm up, I'm up." I said as I rubbed my back and look up to see who just had to wake me up like that as the culprit was none other than Chifuyu.

"Partner! Get up and let's go to the dining room and eat, it's already 10am!" Chifuyu exclaimed as he helped me to stand up and pulled me along to go to the dining room to eat

"It's bloody 10am! It's too early..." I stopped mid-sentence and stopped walking and looked down which made Chifuyu look at me since I wasn't budging as try to process the words Chifuyu had said to me.

Partner...?

"Mitchy? Are you okay? You suddenly stopped walking and cut your sentence off." Chifuyu asked the raven head as he walked near his face that was facing the floor. I then look up and notice that our face's distance was close but I didn't care at the moment.

"Partner?? You just called me partner! Why?" I shouted a little bit while holding his hand and Chifuyu just nodded.

"I don't know? It just felt right, I guess? Why is it bad?" Chifuyu asked me worriedly like he said something wrong.

I just shook my head and looked at him with a wide smile not noticing the tears on the side of my face. He was surprised but smiled warmly and wiped the tear that I didn't even notice fell.

"Really, you're such a cry baby Mitchy." He told me and I just nodded then I held his hand and we walked to the kitchen.

"You know back then when I was in middle school, I was known as the cry baby in my group of friends..." I blabber about some things of when I was in middle school on the way to the kitchen and he just nodded and listened to my rants.

What a great morning!

Me and Chifuyu arrive at the round table and see Draken, Mitsuya, Angry, Kazutora, Mikey, and Hakkai. I sat down in between Baji and Chifuyu, when I did Baji smiled at me then smirked at the others who just glared at the man. I just chuckled at their antics.

As maids bring in food and set it on the table, I notice that everyone was here except for smiley. So while eating I asked them.

"By the way guys, where is smiley?" I ask. They were silent for a moment then Mikey spoke up.

"Handling some gang affairs." He said and I just nodded at this and continued eating.

"Wow, this is delicious." I continued muching on the breakfast not noticing the silence until Kazutora spoke up.

"Hey mitchy, did you even hear what Mikey said???" He asked me and I was confused.

"Yea? He's dealing with gang affairs... Oh" I trailed off when I realize what he meant.

"Yes 'OH', where is your sense of danger mitchy." Kazutora said and facepalmed and everyone just chuckled leaving me embarrassed.

"I mean, I already knew since that Hanma guy told me but I'm not too bothered with it and I kind of suspected all of you were involved with something since I sometimes saw Mikey come to my house with wounds." I told them as I finish my food.
