The pair of newly found best friends joked and laughed the entire way to the apartment complex, mocking eachother and purely having fun. As they stepped inside the large building, Sienna gazed around. It was much fancier than her apartment block, the reception area purely white marble with black decorations and silver ornaments. Martijn greeted the other passers by in the lobby, although there weren't many of them. Sienna simply smiled, following behind him slightly shyly. As he stepped into the elevator, he guided Sienna in by his hand on the pit of her back, causing her to flinch slightly under his touch, but soon relax in to it. Infact, she didn't want him to stop. Before the door closed, an older lady entered the lift, Martijn being a gentleman and helping her in.
"What a kind young man, and a lucky young man too," she smiled, looking Sienna up and down.
"Oh, no, we're-"
"Yep, I am," Martijn interrupted Sienna, pulling her tight in to him by her waist. She was slightly shocked that he was going along with this, but she wasn't prepared to complain. Maybe there was something slightly there in the bottom of both of their hearts.
"Love young is the purest of all, it reminds me of being young and inlove with my husband, how I miss him dearly. Please, take care of eachother, through love always," she continued with a heart warming smile. Whilst they were both aware they were just friends, they agreed with her for her happiness and spoke to her a little more casually.

"You are kidding me, right? There's no way you live here," Sienna gasped, gazing around the apartment as they stepped inside, Martin clicking the matte black front door shut behind them.
"All mine," he smiled proudly as he joined her side, also admiring the place. One thing that you could see a mile off from Martin was his humbleness; every penny he had worked for he cherished and was grateful for, allowing him to achieve things that he could have only dreamt of as a 13 year old boy making music in his bedroom on the top floor of his parents tiny house in the suburbs of Amstelveen. Sienna inhaled the delightful smell of the home - it smelt like Martin. Clean, chocolatey and warm. She made her way towards the window, placing her hands on the cool glass as the rain drops slithered down the outside, her gaze on the city down below. She could see everything from up there; numerous canals, people cycling past trams and taxis, tall thin buildings bedding the canal sides and some beautiful palace like buildings in the distance. Martijn kept himself out the way, also admiring the view but from slightly behind her. His view wasn't of the outside though. It was of the brunette girl with a huge grin on her face, feeling grateful in that very moment.
"What are you smiling at?" Sienna snapped him out of his slightly too deep thoughts as she turned around, noticing him just steps away from her with a tint of red on his freckles cheeks, his lips curling up slightly through his stubble causing his bright eyes to crease slightly.
"You," he responded. This made the girl feel slightly warm, blushing too as she kept her gaze on him.
"What have I done?!" She laughed, folding her arms.
"Nothing, I just like you're company, it's nice being around people with good energy, people like me who love nature and their surroundings, who are always grateful and happy. It's really cute," he continued smirking, as she ended up doing the same. For a moment, their eyes remained locked as Sienna took a step forward towards Martin, the rain pattering on the background, his immaculate grey eyes dilating as her honey eyes remained locked, before moving down to his lips, then back up. She felt her stomach warm, he felt his heart flutter. Was this a moment? A purely platonic moment, surely?
"Ow, fuck," the moment was interrupted as a cramp spread up Sienna's abdomen, causing her to close her eyes and cup her stomach.
"Hey, you ok?" He quickly spoke, reaching out to her shoulder and watching her movements with concern.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Just got, you know, stomach ache," she smiled through the pain. She knew it was ease soon, but it didn't make it any nicer in the moment.
"I understand, go and have a rest and ill bring you some stuff," Martijn kindly spoke in his calming voice, taking her hand in his protective one and leading her towards the sofa. She thanked him, assuring him he didn't need to do anything, but he continued to insist as he sped out the room. Moments later, he re-appeared with a pair of his own black joggers with his familiar ' stmpd ' logo on, a matching hoodie, a large teddy throw blanket and a hot water bottle.
"Marty, you didn't need to do any of this! I'll be ok honestly," Sienna assured him.
"No, I did, I can't let you feel uncomfortable or cold or pained. Not when I'm here to look after you, anyway," he winked. She smiled back to him, feeling herself blush yet again. What was he doing to her?

Hours had passed and the pair now lay under the blanket on the sofa, both wearing Martijn's tracksuits, which Sienna was so happy about as it was so big and cosy on her, not to mention the blatant smell of him giving her reassurance. She lay with her head on his chest, his arm around her shoulder, gently playing with the ends of her hair. The tv flicked on in the background, but unbeknown to eachother, they were both in their own heads. Martijn about the girl he was cradling, Sienna about her protector. She yawned, nuzzling her head up against him as she closed her eyes.
"You tired?" He whispered against her head, resting his cheek there. She simply nodded, moving her arm from around her stomach and resting it over his abdomen.
"Sleep well, I'll be here when you wake up," he whispered as she began to drift off, placing a gentle kiss against her head.
