Seconds after Sienna had received Martijns last text, she heard her bedroom door gently click open, obvious he was trying to do it quietly to prevent anyone else from waking. Himself, Sienna and Justin all had rooms on the top floor of the three story cosy house, whilst the others were all on the second floor. Sienna had been quick to claim the biggest room on the top floor with a beautiful view over the snow ridden mountains, fairy lights wrapped around the balcony outside of her french doors, and the group had all made multiple comments and jokes when Martin quickly claimed the room opposite hers, which he claimed was his favourite room because it had a guitar in it. He was probably telling the truth, everyone thought, but Sienna secretly hoped it was so he was near her. Of course, it was.
"Im freezing, I was just about to get into bed," he giggled through a whisper, his arms cupped over his bare chest as his hair was half fluffy and half dripping still, standing in the doorway in nothing but his grey joggers, his arms subtly muscled and his abdomen contoured yet cuddly.
"Get into bed then," Sienna whispered back, somehow confident with a smirk as she shuffled to the side, lifting the duvet to indicate his invitation. Martijns bright eyes lit up, his heart warming as he quietly collided the door behind him, before stepping towards the bed. Sienna lay in a white silk lace pyjama set, her face bare and her hair in two plaits to keep it neat overnight. Martijn smirked as he gazed at her, slipping himself into the space next to her. Immediately, he snuggled himself under the duvet, wrapping his arm around her shoulders as she cuddled up onto his chest, her leg over his and her head in his neck. She looked up to him, a glimmer in her eyes as she noticed he was already looking at her. Placing her hand on his chest, she gently hoisted herself up to his face height and rested her lips against his in a gentle peck. For some reason, tonight she was feeling very confident, and very fierce. She'd had a good chat with Georgie on the flight whilst the others slept about her feelings, and she knew if she didn't act on them then she couldn't take them anywhere. So that's what she was doing, telling him and showing him how he felt. And as though he could read her mind, he did the same - smirking against the kiss as he moved his hand from her shoulder and up into her hair, pulling her head closer to his with ever more passion. The other arm wrapped around her tightly, her hands tickling up and down his chest and abdomen. He gently grunted against her lips as the mood heated up. Before long, Sienna gently pulled away and with a final peck, rested her head back in his neck. He took a deep inhalation of pure joy, placing a soft kiss against her head. They lay in silence for a moment, each enjoying the others company.
"I do really like you, Sienna," Martijn whispered huskily, breaking through the silence. He, too, had recently had an intense discussion with Louis who had assured him he needed to act on his feelings. And so that's what he was doing.
"I really like you too, Martijn," Sienna replied with a smirk, as she felt herself squeezed closer into him than before.
"So...what do we do?" Martijn replied, rubbing his fingers up and down her arm as he continued staring at the ceiling. Sienna thought for a second. One half of her wanted to jump straight in, give him her everything, wake up knowing he was hers to cherish. But the other half of her was petrified, she'd only known him a matter of weeks and that wasn't long enough for her to trust him with her whole heart. After what felt like hours of waiting for Martin, Sienna opened her mouth.
"Let's just wait and see where life takes us. I really do like you, and I really want to be with you. But maybe we need to carry on as we are for a bit and make sure it's definitely what we want. I get a bit anxious about getting hurt," Sienna told him truthfully, hoping she wouldn't give off a platonic impression. Martijn nodded, in complete understanding, and also somewhat excited at the prospect that they could be together in the future.
"We can take all the time we need. Aslong as I have you by my side somehow, and know you will be mine and no one else's, then I'm happy to wait," he winked, playful yet still overprotective. Sienna rolled onto her elbows, facing the boy as he continued playing with her hair from his position on his back.
"But just so you know, I'd never dream of hurting you. I agree it hasn't been long, but I already know you're special. And I'll treasure that, and you, for aslong as I can," he told her with an air of seriousness to his words for a change, letting her know how he truly felt about the situation. Sienna sighed with a smile; how was it possible to be so perfect?
"Thank you," was all she could get out as she placed a kiss against his cheek, before snuggling back into his chest and pursing her eyes closed.
"Goodnight, Marty," she whispered, inhaling his sweet scent from beneath her as his warm hands wrapped over her body, making her feel safer than ever before.
"Goodnight, my angel."
