My day had been the roughest one in a long time, everything imaginable went wrong. I flunked my geometry test, I tripped myself in the hallway, I walked in on a couple making out in the stairwell, I started my period, and I bled through my underwear.

It was now 4:15 in the evening and I was stuck in the library at a small round table, waiting for the student I was supposed to tutor. I adjusted myself in the rock hard seat. I was so uncomfortable. I frowned due to the discomfort my uterus was causing me.

I had no clue where the student was and who they even were, there was no info given to me about the person.

I felt my eyelids start to fall and my head droop to the side slightly. I was beyond exhausted. Just as I began to fall asleep, the loud noise of a chair scooting over next to mine startled me awake. My eyes wandered over to the person causing the noise and I immediately wanted to disappear.

Gina.

"Kill me." I mumbled to myself, staring at my lap.

"So, let's get to work. This study guide won't solve itself." Gina smiled sneakily, sitting down next to me and slamming her binder onto the table.

"Is this a joke?" I asked angrily.

Gina just snickered silently as she pulled out four double-sided papers. My mouth gaped.

"Who gave you all of this work?" I asked, shocked as I read over the long questions on the papers.

"Mrs.Renwell. AP world history." She answered shortly, handing me a pencil.

"Why should you need tutoring if you're in an AP class?" I tilted my head to the side and raised an eyebrow.

"I don't need tutoring." She replied, "I need you to do my work."

I closed my eyes and inhaled sharply, trying to hold back from saying anything harmful.

"Number one," She started, "What event from the dark ages effected li-"

"Gina, I'm here to help people that need it. Not annoying petty girls that try to get on my nerves." I snapped. I couldn't stop myself, I was already experiencing enough pain, the last thing I needed was Gina pestering me for hours.

"No, actually, you're here to help out other students that want help. At least that's what the councilor said when I asked for tutoring." She did her famous Gina shrug and smiled like she didn't do anything wrong.

"There's like 50 students in the tutoring program, why did you pick me??" I ran a hair through my curtain bangs, trying to stay calm and collected (it wasn't working at all).

"I thought it would be funny, you know?" She smirked, "You are being forced to help me even though you hate me. It's fun."

"I'm almost convinced you did this so that you could kill me in private and hide my body in the school basement or something." I crossed my arms.

"Nini, chill-"

"Actually, it's Nina. That's my real name." I interrupted her.

She cocked an eyebrow, "No thanks, I like Nini better."

"Oh my god." I mumbled to myself.

"C'mon Nini, let's do my work now-"

"Nina." I corrected.

"Nini."

"Nina."

"Nini."

"It's Nina!" I yelled, trying not to look at her. I was convinced if I laid my eyes on her again, I'd explode.

"Adorable." Gina smirked, knowing she was annoying me terribly.

"Why can't you just take me seriously, Gina?!" I snapped, reaching my last straw.

"Well first of all, you are the least scary person I've ever met. Second of all, you are wearing a Taylor Swift cardigan. And third of all, you are as harmless as a puppy." She shrugged.

"I can be scary, Taylor Swift is a badass, and I am not a puppy." I replied quickly, crossing my arms like an angry mom.

"Then show me." Gina crossed her arms, "Show me you can be scary."

"Gina-"

"Show me."

I shook my head and clenched my fists together, "Let's just do your homework so I can go home."

"Now you wanna do my work?" Gina complained.

"Yes! Now let's do it!" I snapped back.

"Show me first." She replied shortly.

"Show you what?" I rolled my eyes.

"Show me that you can be scary!" Gina answered as if it was obvious.

"Oh my goddd!" I groaned, covering my face with my hands.

"C'mon, intimidate me." Gina laid back in her chair, waiting for something to happen.

"Fine." I huffed and stood up from my seat. I stepped towards her and leaned down until our faces were almost touching. I grabbed her by the collar, "You have made these last few days living hell for me and all I want to do is chuck you out of that fucking window. If you will KINDLY shut the fuck up and do your god damn work, I'd appreciate it!" I released her from my grip roughly and didn't even take the time to watch her reaction as I sat back down.

"Oh wow, that was h-"

"SHUT UP." I yelled.

"Jesus Nini, y-"

I didn't even let her finish her sentence, I covered her mouth and glared at her. I was convinced I was glaring so hard that I was burning holes into her eyes.

"Say Nini one more time, and I'll rip this study guide in half." I grumbled.

She nodded with hesitation and I uncovered her mouth.

The rest of the study session went more smoothly than it started, although that didn't change the fact that I could hardly stand being around her. I made a mental note to quit the tutoring program.

"Okay, we're done." I finally got to announce. I immediately began shoving my things into my backpack so I could leave as soon as possible. Much to my surprise, not a single word escaped Gina's mouth the entire time.

Just before I was about to start walking away from the table, I dropped my phone and quickly bent down to grab it.

"Nice view." Gina smirked.

I turned around as quickly as I could and flipped her off. Not waiting for her reaction, i just turned back around and stormed off.
