"Don't be amused, it's just the news!" Nadja Chamak reported from the TV. "After local super-heroine Ladybug and her team were unable to stop ShadowMoth's newest attack, it is now confirmed that Le Grand Paris, France's most famous hotel, has been completely destroyed. Fortunately there haven't been reported any causalities, however, this has lead to the displeasure of many civilians, who are engaging in manifestations all over Paris. Our president, the only person with power over the mayor, will be making a statement at nine. In unrelated news, Scientists have finally proven that water is, in fact, not wet-"

"Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous!" Audrey complained to her butlers as they carried her things into the Agreste mansion. "Couldn't you guys work faster? I'm dying of heat out here!"
"Yeah, utterly ridiculous!" Chloe mirrored, still not fully absorbing what had happened. "Where's Sabrina when I need her?"
"Chloe!" Adrien called, rushing from inside the mansion to give her a hug. "I'm so sorry about what happened to your home!"

The girl pushed him away.

"Get off me, you stupid- ughhh!" She briefly moved her arms around, overwhelmed. "Look, I don't care what happened about that stupid house! I don't care what happens to my stupid dad, my stupid things, or that stupid bee! I don't care about any of that, ok!? I'm fine!"
"Chloe-"
"Out of my way, I'm gonna pick a room!"

The brat stormed into the mansion and went to pick one of the many rooms at her disposal to sleep in. Adrien rushed after her.

"Chloe, come on!"

The golden boy tried to open the door, but it was no use. It was locked.

*Knock Knock*

No answer.

Adrien sighed and eventually headed to his room.

"Gee that Chloe sure is something!" Plagg complained, flying out of the boy's jacket.
"Chloe's going through a lot, Plagg. I need to talk to her."
"Well duh but it doesn't mean she can just be rude to you! It's like a mouldy cheese. She's been doing this for so long that now it's ruined!"
"She's got a lot of problems, Plagg And I think I'm part of the issue. I need to talk to her."
"She basically just said she won't listen!"
"I'll give her time to calm down on her own but she can't be alone in a time like this. For now, I'll just take a patrol to freshen my mind. Plagg, Claws Out!"

---

"Where's Adrien?" Gabriel asked.
"The cameras show him going to his room, should I lock the doors?" Natalie answered, looking at her tablet.
"That would be ideal, thank you." Gabriel looked at the clock in the wall of Natalie's bedroom. "Nine P.M., the president should be about to make his speech. If everything goes according to plan I'll have Ladybug and Chat Noir's miraculous before midnight."
"You were right, sir. Working with Lila Rossi has definitely shown its benefits."
"Nooroo, Dussu, Dual Metamorphosis!"

Shadow Moth transformed just as the president announced Andre Bourgeois would no longer be the mayor of Paris from then on.

"I'm sorry for having to do this to you again, Natalie."
"It's all for our goal, sir. I am... fully on board." She coughed, sitting on her bed.

The villain sighed and opened his cane, making an Akuma fly into his assistant's tablet.

"Catalyst, I'm once again giving you the power to enhance others' abilities. Hopefully this is the last time..."

A dark substance bubbled around Natalie as she was akumatized into Catalyst for the third time. She then touched Shadow Moth's weapon.

"Shadow Moth, I am giving you the power to release as many Akumas and Amuks as you wish, more powerful than ever. From now on, you shall be the all mighty Crimson Moth."

Shadow Moth was covered in a red light for a brief moment. Afterwards, he emerged as Crimson Moth.

"The reason our last plan failed is because all those villains had their own minds. But with a Sentimonster army, I'll be unstoppable!" Crimson Moth opened a window and waved his fan, dozens of crimson feathers floated in the wind all across Paris. "Go, my beautiful feathers! And bring all those emotions to life!" He then opened his cane and a few Akumas flew out of it. "And as for you, my dear Akumas, you shall bring my past supporters their usual treatment..."

---

"WHAT!? SHE'S LIVING WITH WHO!?" Marinette gasped.
"You've heard it here, folks. Chloe Bourgeois is now living in the same home as the heart-throb of any Parisian girl, Adrien Agreste!" The presenter of the Gossips in Paris TV show announced. Marinette watched it every week to catch up with any Adrien-related news she might've missed.
"Marinette, calm down, you might get akumatized like that!" Her Kwami said.
"Don't worry Tikki. I have plenty of magical charms to protect me... BUT I GOTTA DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS! After all she's done she STILL gets to live with Adrien!? She was the one who caused all this!"
"Marinette, look out!" Tikki warned, but it was too late, for an Amuk had already entered her owner's purse. Turns out the charms didn't protect her from Amuks.
"Hello there, Marinette. I am Crimson Moth."

Marinette gasped and clenched her fists, trying to resist.

"I'm not going to listen to you!"
"Oh, but why not? I haven't even said anything."
"I won't let you harm any innocent people!"
"Innocent? I believe the person who you feel such negativity against is everything but innocent, isn't that right?"

Marinette hesitated for a moment, just long enough for a neon red butterfly-shaped outline to form in front of her face.

"I am not asking for much, all I ask is for you to use me as an outlet of your frustration. We will give Chloe the treatment she oh so deserves and then you can make the monster disappear with a snap of your fingers. Of course, as payment I will only accept Ladybug and Chat Noir's miraculous."

Marinette was quiet for a moment

"Ok, calm down, Marinette, you got this Think Think... Ok I figured it out. I'll give Chloe a scare then I'll pretend I changed my mind and get rid of the Sentimonster. After all, if I'm not Akumatized then he can't control my mind and I won't give him my miraculous, right?" Marinette thought.

"Ok, Crimson Moth. We have a deal. for now."
