Death To The Queen

Chapter 2

Mr. Pigeon was dominating our heroes with his army of feathered rats, Chat Noir's nose exploded with alergies every time he clashed with the many many pigeons and Ladybug was trying to propel Vesperia into stinging the bad guy's creature.

"NOW YOU'LL SEE THE TRUE POWER OF MY PI-" The villain started, but he was cut off by a sudden de-akumatization none of the heroes were expecting.

"What the...?" Said Ladybug as she caught Mr. Ramier with her yo-yo. "Did any of you break his whistle?"
"No but I could use a helping paw over here! ACHOO!" Chat Noir sneezed while trying to defeat the still active Sentimonster.
"Right." Ladybug said as she threw the whistle at her partner. "Think fast!"
"Cataclysm!" The cat miraculous holder shouted, destroying the item into dust as it colided with his hand, making a purple feather fly away from it which was de-evilized by the red heroine after wards.
"Miraculous Ladybug!" She said, throwing a red and black gun into the air, fixing the small damage dealt by the overly-recurring villain; They all fist bumped afterwards. "Pound it! Well I guess I didn't need your power after all, Vesperia. Sorry for the inconvenience."
"It's perfectly fine, Ladybug!" The bee miraculous holder smiled. "I'm just happy you called me!"
"Well, see ya kitty! I gotta go retrieve her miraculous." The leader said, but an explosion was heard in the distance. "Uh oh."
"So I'm guessing you do need me after all?" Vesperia asked.
"I guess so... Alright you two go check on what happened while I feed my kwami and get a couple more heroes, we'll switch after I'm back, Chat."
"Sounds like a pawesome plan, my lady!" Chat Noir agreed. "I'll see you there, then. Let's go, Vesperia!"

Our black and yellow heroes jumped through the rooftomps of Paris and arrived at the scene of the crime: Le Grand Paris. Near it was en explosion-themed super villain hovering in the air.

"I've had it with you, Chloe! We're all tired of you!!" The flying villain shouted. "It's time to pay for everything you've done!"

Chat Noir noticed Chloe cowering under a table at the top of the hotel.

"Vesperia, take Chloe somewhere safe. I'll handle this hothead!"
"On it!"
"Aw, so the kitty thinks he can play tough and beat me all by himself?" The villain mocked. "That's ok, I'll play with you.... CATCH!"

The villain shot her bomb-shaped head in his direction, but fortunately Chat hit it away with his staff, before explosives rained from her hands.

"Chloe, take my hand!" Vesperia called, extending her hand. "I'll take you to safety!"
"I'd rather die than be rescued by a cheap copy like you!" Chloe shouted, backing away. "Don't you think you've tainted my name enough!?"
"I think you already did that yourself..." The bee heroine mumbled.
"Insulting the victim...you don't even know anything about me! Gosh Ladybug really couldn't have found a more utterly ridiculous replacement!"
"Chloe, wait!" Vesperia calmly chased after her half sister. "That's not what I meant!"
"Leave me alone!"

Chloe entered the elevator, Vesperia chased after her.

"I'm just trying to help you!"
"You ain't doing a very good job then!" The mayor's daughter went to leave, but the door automatically shut before she could. "Great, now I'm stuck here with her of all people..."
"Chloe, look, I know there's some good in you."
"'There's good in all of us, we can all be heroes without masks!'" Chloe mocked, mimicking of the the many speeches given by Ladybug. "Look, those cookie cutter generic speeches don't work on me. It doesn't take a genious to tell those are soulless respon-"
"I'm talking about you, Chloe. You in particular."
"Uhuh..." Chloe said, not amused.
"Look, I-" They heard a particularly loud explosion.
"Great, she found me... All because of you!"

Chloe didn't have more time to cuss out Vesperia, because the elevator started shaking and quickly began falling afterwards.

"VENOM!" The heroine shouted while Chloe panicked, stinging the elevator and locking it in mid-air.
"Ugh, my head hurts... and you're lucky there's no mirrors in here or else you'd be dead."

Vesperia was about to complain but shook her head. "Look, as I was saying, I haven't been here in Paris for that long, but I've seen some of the Akuma fights reported on TV."
"And?"
"I've seen times where you were genuinely trying to help, Chloe."
"Yeah right, as if I cared about those stupid heroes! You don't know anything about me, all I did was claim my well deserved spotlight! Now take me outta here, Viperia."
"It's 'Vesperia'..."

Vesperia threw her weapon upwards and it held on to the exterior of the elevator.

"We can keep talking about this once we're out, okay?"
"If that's the case I'd rather stay here until the 'Miraculous Ladybug' magically saves me."
"Chloe I'll detransform before Ladybug's done, we need to go before the Venom wears off and the elevator falls again, please..."
"Fine..!"

Chloe held on to the spin top and she was propelled onto the roof of the hotel once more, but she screamed as she noticed flames had surrounded the building.

"Sorry for taking so long, kitty." Ladybug apologised as she landed, followed by at least five more heroes. "You're going down, Destroyer! LUCKY CHA-"
"Akuma, I renounce you." The villain said, making a white butterfly fly from her bracelet and revealing Lila Rossi.
"-rm...?"

A black and red 'I'm sorry for your loss' card was spawned from a confused Ladybug's yo-yo as Lila walked away calmly.

"Two sudden de-akumatizations in a row? That's weird." Chat Noir noticed as his ring beeped.
"Doesn't matter, this should fix the damage. MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!" She shouted, throwing the card in the air, but the magical ladybugs just went up and down again, not really fixing anything.
"Huh? Is Tikki feeling alright?" Chat asked.

Ladybug thought for a moment before getting hit with realization.

"Wait... I think I got it. My lucky charm can only fix things if it was cast before I defeat the villain."
"So?"
"You don't get it. This time I only finished casting it after she was deakumatizatized."
"Wait so does that mean..."

Ladybug nodded.

"I can't fix this..."
