Thunder roared in the distance and rain soaked the dark night streets of Paris. Chat Noir jumped from streetlight to streetlight, dodging the violent swings of Lady Justice's thorn-covered blade. He couldn't believe his eyes... Marinette had been akumatized! But how? She had always been the first to stand for what's right, so if someone managed to get under her skin, they really screwed up.

"Marinette, stop! This isn't you!" He begged, clashing his staff with her sword while trying to search for the Akumatized object. He was getting tired, and all he could think about was how much he needed Ladybug to show up and help. This was one of the strongest villains he had fought on his own.

Chat Noir was struggling beyond anything he would've expected, silk ribbons propelled from the villain's arms slid like snakes across the streets of Paris and the sword shattered everything it touched into two exact halves. The way he saw it didn't leave any means he would survive on his own, and as if reading his mind, Lady Justice caught him in less than two minutes, leaving him to hopelessly struggle inside the silky cocoon, his head the only part of his body not currently suffocating.

The heavy sword had been pointed to his head and a black ball of energy emerged from the cocoon, flying straight to the villain's pair of silver weighing scales held by her gloved left hand. Our hero was trembling.

"Chat Noir..." She started, in a monotone yet booming voice. "Justice deems you..."

The scale's plate holding the black ball of energy lifted, as if the other plate had gotten heavy.

"...innocent. You shall be freed."

Lady Justice retrieved her sword and the ball of energy returned to Chat Noir as she left.

"Marinette, wait! This isn't the right way to solve things! Cataclysm!"

Our hero set himself free from the cocoon, then to his shock, Marinette came running in his direction, de-akumatized, as far as he knew.

"Chat Noir!"
"Huh? Marinette? Wow Ladybug was fast!" He said, relieved.
"What are you talking about? The sentimonster's still on the run!"
"Wait, Sentimonster?"
"Yeah! What were you thinking!?" She said, alarmed. "I didn't get akumatized, but Shadow Moth got a power up and I feel like there's a lot more of those coming your way!"
"Wait so that Sentimonster was yours!? Can't you just release the Amuk?"
"Sorry, she stole my purse... Look, Ladybug already left to gather up the team and told me to tell you to hold on until she comes back, we need at least one hero to be active!"
"On it! Now go hide in case Ladybug needs Multimouse, I'll handle this!"

Marinette nodded and ran away. Chat Noir got on top of his extended weapon to search for the villain, but what he saw filled him with in a sense of pure dread: Dozens of crimson villains, both new and old, were all headed in the same direction - the Agreste mansion.

"No, Chloe!" He realized, beginning to desperately run in all fours towards their destination, where Lady Justice was nearly arriving.

He was relieved to know that the safety measures had been taken, but the terror returned when he noticed Chloe's room was the only one without the metal barriers set down. Turns out she had accidentally chosen the only room that hadn't been updated to have its safety controlled by the main network.

"Don't you dare get any closer!" He roared, hitting Lady Justice at full force with his staff, climbing onto the girl's shoulders and ripping the bag from her grip, making an Amuk float from it, which proceeded to get caught by a familiar yet relief-inducing yo-yo.

"Thanks for holding her back, kitty cat!" Ladybug thanked. "How much time do you have left?"
"About three minutes, why?"

Ladybug took a deep breath and grabbed something from her weapon.
