Bel's first kiss

I stood alone for a little bit before the lady of the establishment greatest me with a drink.
"I don't mean to intrude on your evening or be a burden, but you don't seam like you belong here dear, I am The Lady and you are?"
"Thr'bel but my friends call me Bel" I tell her
"Ah you are Paws friend, delightful, well that scoundrel could use a good influence or two. Is he the reason you are here tonight?"
"Oh no, Lillie invited me and my friends, but they all seam to have wondered off." I wave my hands about looking around for a sign of any of them.
"Oh dear. Oh do you play music, you do look like you have an instrument there" she asked looking at my lyre.
"I do" I pulled it out for her to examine.
"Well we do have some lie music but you are welcome to join them up on stage just tell them that I sent you and if their is any problems let me know." The Lady said and drifted away.
I easily found the musicians and told them about the lady's invite and was easily seated at the head of the group.
I lead them in an easy showing of a few songs as people gathered around to listen to us. I watched the crowed as they moved in and out of the room. Gathering and dispersing. My mind never wandering to what lay beyond this room.
"May I steal you away sir Bel" said a voice rousing me from the music and I looked up to see Luck. I smiled at him and nodded.
"Certainly. I am a bit tired and everyone has dissipated." I was aware that he was there simply for me dressed in a teal toga and gold chains his hair was braided and he looked lovely. A few people tried to stop us but he simply walked away leading me from the building.
"What a strange place." I mused and Luck chuckled to himself.
"How was your evening?" He asked
"Excellent and your own."
"You didn't even notice me sitting there listening to you play the whole evening." Luck said almost with a frown but he still looked cheerful enough.
"Accompany me for a walk along the beach?"
"Certainly" I said
Just then Ramock emerged from around the buildings back and saw us. And called bounding over in a much to small suit "What you two up to"
"Oh were just going for a walk." I replied.
"Cool cool, i think I'm about ready to head back to the inn, can I get a room tonight Luck." Ramock asked which I thought was rather strangled as I had just said we were going for a walk, had he not just heard me.
"I'm sure you can Ramock but as I am off the job right now, you can go to the tavern and request one." Luck said pointedly.
"Right right, so you two coming?" Ramock asked narrowing eyes at Luck as if he didn't trust him. Luck of all people could you imagine.
"We were just taking a stroll. Lovely night for a walk, we will see you back at the tavern good night Ramock" Luck said and I looked between the two very confused.
"Right right good night luck" Ramock said this so harshly I wondered if he had some bad history with Luck or some such thing. But I pushed it from my mind, it was none of my business.
As we walked a while we were aware that Ramock was fallowing us for a time, but then he seamed to disappear as suddenly as he had appeared. What a strange short man.
Luck and I continued our moon lit walk along the beach and came to stand right under the moon light.
"So why did you come to the party just to watch me all night?" I asked him as we stood along the beach.
"Oh, don't, don't you know what that place is by now?"
"An inn isn't it?" I said
"Oh dear. No not quite. Its a brothel." Luck laughed a little
"Remind me to punch that Rabbit." I said and Luck just nodded.
"I wanted to make sure you were alright. That no one took advantage of you."
"Well thank you."
"I am quite taken with you sir bel"
"Oh" was all I could manage, then he asked me a strange question that I had never heard the word before so I wasn't quite sure how to answer.
"Do you ever so much mind if I kiss you?"
We sit in silence for a moment as I try to work out the word and then his lips touch my cheek and the world shifts place. I had seen people doing this. Pressing their mouths together and I could never figure out why. I thought they were feeding one another. But this simple act is so beautifully heart warming it takes my breath away in an instant. I don't breath for a moment and then I faint.
