Mirabels gift ceremony
You had lived in the encanto for your whole life so the name madrigal was very well known in your family, but you barely knew them you just saw Camilo's ceremony a few months ago and now it was your best friend, Mirabel. She was the same age as you and you had known her for forever, you where helping set up once it got to the stuff only the adults could do you decide to go see her, you ran up the stairs to the nursery so the house didn't slide you down you go up to the door to hear people talking, you decide not to go in as that would be rude so you just listen to them, Dolores does it all the time so why should you be any different.
"What do you think my gift will be" you hear a small voice say curiously.
"Your gift will be just as special as you are" an older sounding voice reply's then the sound of a clock going off.
"Okay casita, come on mirabel" the older voice says you run away from the door not wanting to be caught. You slide down the stairs as everyone gets ready for the big walk down. Mirabel walks down the tiles to the stairs, looks back and walks up. She looked amazing, she held the candle and touched the door handle but the light disappeared just as the door did. Everyone looked up in shock, mirabel ran to the nursery crying. Everyone looked disappointed and took there stuff and left. You stayed, running up to the nursery. You knock on the door and casita opens it. You run insiders comfort mirabel.
"What happened to my door, w-why did mine go" mirabel said between sobs, you say nothing and just hug her. Mirabel holds you loosely crying into your shoulder, you rub her back comfortingly before the door slams open, you and mirabel jump at this, it's Alma. Wanting to protect mirabel you hold her even tighter
