Guardian of hope (Ahsoka Luke Leia)

Chapter 5: Back to the sand planet

The three boarded the ship and soon after, they made their way to Tatooine.

Leia: "Say, Ahsoka, where are we going now ?"

Ahsoka: "On a planet, far from everything... Tatooine."

This time, the trip was different. Ahsoka set the ship to autopilot and gathered Luke and Leia around her.

Ahsoka: "Kids, I have something to say."

Leia :"What is it ?"

Ahsoka: "I just wanted to apologize for last time... going to Naboo was not a wise decision, and I put your lives at risk by being so close to the Empire."

Luke: "Are you kidding me ? The way you beat those guys, that was awesome!"

Ahsoka: "No, it's not. I shouldn't have risked your lives like that."

Leia: "I would never blame you Ahsoka. I am glad we went there."

Ahsoka looked at Leia, surprised.

Ahsoka: "Really ? I couldn't help you when you were captured though."

Luke: "But you still came back for us! I am with Leia here, I am glad to realize what kind of a badass my mother was..."

Ahsoka: "Luke, you really have to stop using that word."

Luke: "But also you. I never saw you fighting with so much intensity before... and given everything you have done for us... raising us like you did..."

Leia: "Luke is right, you may not be our mother, but there is no doubt that you are a motherly figure to us both!"

Ahsoka's heart was filled with joy. She did not expect that, as she was always worried that these two would regret the absence of their mother, but evidently not. She had the confirmation that she had done a great job, and that made everything worth it. She put her arms around both of their waist and hugged them. They both returned the favor.

Ahsoka: "Kids... thank you. I have come to a decision. You need to be prepared to act even if I am not with you."

Luke: "No way! You'll teach to fight like you do ?"

Ahsoka :"No, we have the rest of this long trip to introduce you to the ways of the force."

Back on Alderaan, the Star destroyer of the Emperor himself emerged from the clouds. A shuttle landed to the ground, and Vader got out, welcomed by the Queen of the planet with her husband, the Senator. He did not waste any time and started strangling Organa.

Vader: "Your actions are most disappointing, Senator."

Bail Organa: "What ? What do you mean ?"

Vader: "Ahsoka Tano. Where is she ?"

Bail Organa: "I don't know what you're talking about."

Vader: "This is your last chance."

Bail Organa :"I haven't had the visit of anyone, I swear!"

Vader released him and summoned the last technician who made the repairs in the ship.

Vader: "Has the bug been correctly implemented in her ship ?"

Mechanician: "It has."

Vader: "Then, you are no use to me, Senator."

He got back to his shuttle, which made its way back to the star destroyer.

Queen Breha Organa: "He... he left, just like that ?"

Bail looked at the sky with horror.

Bail Organa: "No... not just like that."
