Chapter 3//Awkward Beach

You can say this was the most awkward car ride of my sixteen years. What made me even get in his car. I gotta admit, it is a pretty rad ride.

Tyler broke the awkard silence, "I still hate you, nothings changed."

"I could say the exact same. You just said it first." I stated.

"But you didn't . I did." His big brown eyes set on me. I felt them going through my soul.

"Eyes on the rode Hastings! Not me." I smirked. But seriously ew.

Tyler laughed. We started talking about the times our revenge plans failed and worked. Now I knew who replaced glue for milk in the art room. That was a nightmare. This was the longest we have ever spoke to each other without choking each other.

Looking out the window I could see my house, then he kept driving. WHat in the world. "Tyler! You passed my house! Where are you taking me, pull over now before I jump out the car!"

Is this the part where he takes me to an abandoned shack and butchers me? What am I saying?

"Woods calm down. Jeez. I'm taking you to the beach." I was realifed that he wasn't gonna butcher me.

"No, Tyler stop please. We hate each other not love each other. Plus my mom is gonna wonder where I am and Kendall and James and Caleb and." I never panicked this much in my life.

All of a sudden Tyler started to burst out laughing. "You think I'm taking you to the beach so we can hook up aren't you!"

I bit my lip, "Thats what it sounds like Hastings! Then why are you taking me?"

"So you can act like my date. It disgusts me I know. I borrowed a bikini from one of my girlfriends. She is lovely. But anyway please put it on. Talk to your mom say you are with me. Its school work. Make up a lie... and don't tell Kendall." He commanded.

"Dude. A bikini. How do you know my size? Nevermind I don't want to know. Ugh Tyler. You owe me big time." I groaned. Obeying his words and called my loved ones.

We finally arrived at the beach. I haven't been to the beach since my dad left my mom. Thinking about it had me shed a tear.

Tyler handed me a mint bikini. Got to say for a boy he has an excellent taste. But I am still dumbfounded that Tyler invited me. He hates me and I hate him. This doesn't make sense.

Tyler walked me to the bathroom and waited for me to change.

Putting on the mint bikini I felt disgusted. One because this is a girl Tyler hit it off with's bikini. Two... because Tyler is going see my body. How embarrassing. Gag.

Before walking out I put on my extra white gym shirt from my school bag and paired it on top of this mint bikini top so he can't see my stomach. The other half well not so lucky. Kill me.

I walked out to see Tyler leaning againt the wall of the bathroom smirking. I swatted his stomach. "Hastings lets go weirdo."

We walked side to side on the board walk then we reached the sand. I hate sand... the burning sensation is a con about the beach.

Tyler smacked my head lightly , "Kailene, behave yourself now. Guess who's here?"

Rolling my eyes, "Who."

"Gavin." He whispered in my ear sending chills down my spine. why does he have to be like this?

I stopped in my tracks. Who, what, when,where, and why?! Gavin Barne was my crush did I say was I mean is. And Tyler knows that somehow! No. God no.

Tyler began to chuckle, "Cats got your tounge. If you don't start walking I will carry and throw you in the water for the sharks."

"I hate you more than I hated you ever. Why did you bring me? So you can show me off and make fun of me infront of your friends! Oh my gosh I am an idiot. After all you did to me I agreed to this. I hate myself." I let out a scream and turned myself around. Please don't make that thing follow me.

Running towards the board walk away from the beach Tyler tackled me on the rough hot sand.

I am officially gonna kill him.

His body was on top of me. My face is on the sand nearly eating it. I spat out a few specks.

I turned my head to see a family looking at us shaking their head and the mother covered her youngest daughters eyes. This position is a position the whole female population would want to be in right now.

Tyler turned my body to face him I closed my eyes.

Tyler said softly, "Woods. You're not leaving. "

I opened my eyes where his caramel eyes met mine. Did I just admire his eyes? This is getting awkward.

"Get off of me Tyler!" I hissed.

He surprisingly obeyed, but as a gentleman he left me on the ground for now the third time today. So charming.

In that moment he lended his hand out to mine pulling me up.

"Now walk back with me."

I did as he said. Then Tyler stopped. Ugh what could he be doing now. Oh joy. He took off his shirt only to throw it at me.

"Ew Tyler!"

He faced me with that annoying usual smirk , "now take yours off, I got 5 dollars."

Wow. I can't believe he just said that. Little perv. Well this is a beach...but this is Tyler.
I bit down tensing my jaw, "You're a pig!"

"Oh look there they are. Oh look at Gavin and that smokin body. Lucky you. And oh my. Look who else is here." Tyler said Laughing hysterically.

Great. The whole football team is there and my crush, Gavin. I took a double take to see infront of my eyes Kendall with James and Caleb.

This can't be happening.

Could this day get any worse?
