Chapter 4//Salty Kiss

Kendall approached me with James and Caleb tagging along. I crossed my arms closing my eyes facing the ocean listening to the soothing sound of the waves crashing trying to forget about my situation.

"Kai, really. You lied to me. Then I come to see you with Ty and in a bikini. Girl you got some serious explaining to do." Kendall pursed her lips letting out a laugh.

James added, "Kai are you and Ty "together." Why did he air quote?

Caleb stood laughing uncontrollablly

"Guys! Tyler and I are not together, He offered me a ride home which I denied but then got in his car. Then suprised me by taking me to the beach. He told me to lie to you Ken and my mom. And the bikini, well he got it from one of his "girlfriends" trust me I am not taking this shirt off for him to see my body." I Explained.

"Ok whatever you say "Kailene" but can you take it off for me?" Caleb teased.

"Don't be a dick that's nasty and please don't call me Kailene, you know I hate that!" Only Ty calls me Kailene. It's my real name. I call him Tyler which he hates so it's our code.

Kendall clapped her hands then smiled, "Let's go back to the group."

We walked to the group, I remember them so well. They all were there when Tyler kicked me with the ball and I chucked it at his balls. good times.

Tyler set his eyes on mine making us lock. I broke the connection by looking at the sky. What's up with him?

I bit my lips as I watched everyone party at the beach and drinking. Kendall was making out with James on the sand while Caleb was drinking a beer and telling jokes. I was grateful for them. But I just don't fit in at all.

Someone's hand touched my back making me screetch.

"What the he-." My Jaw dropped to the floor. Nah not really. But I was aghasted to see Gavin. Mother shit balls is this real? Like is Ashton Kutcher going to come out and say "YOU'VE JUST BEEN PUNKED!"

"Hey it's fine, It's just me. I see your enjoying this lovely night at the beach." Gavin spoke letting his sexy British accent emerge.

"Um, yea.... I guess." What the heck Kai! Ugh I am such an idiot. facepalm.

"So you came with Ty. You two got a fling now?" Why does everyone think I am with him? God.

"No, trust me I would rather saw off my fingers than go out with him." I let out my first laugh of the night.

He turned to face me. I inhaled unable to breathe. The moon lit in the background and the sound of the waves crashing up on shore made this moment like a scene from a movie. My movie, Our movie.

His green eyes looked into my blue eyes. He leaned in and kissed my cheek. Ok I am not that good looking. The hell. Did someone pay him to do this? Ty that twat.

"Gavin, I don't know you like that did Tyler put you up to this?" I questioned taking a step back.

"Ty? No. You just seemed like you need someone to comfort you." He smiled before taking his shirt off and taking my hand.

Dang. I didn't realize he had that many tattoo's. "Uh what are you doing? You kiss my cheek then take your shirt off." I bite my lip looking confused as hell.

"Going for a swim. It's 7 oclock. One more hour left. Got to waste time some how."

"My shirt. I Don't want to wet it." I sighed making an excuse.

"Take it off. That sounds weird, but that's the point of a swim suit. To swim." He pointed out letting out a husky giggle. damn so hot.

I took a deep breath and took off my shirt as quick as possible. I wanted to take it off in a sexy way, but I would probably look like pinhead.
