Chapter 11//Jokes on Me

AN: I am sorry I haven't updated I have been stressed out because of school I literally have grey hairs due to school lmao and I really wanted to update but never got the chance, but it's the summer so more chapters!! Tyler's POV

Did Kai and I really lock lips in the janitors closet? Call it cliché if you want, but it was sort of romantic. WAIT am I developing actual feelings? No I can't I know I've denied it multiple times but her heart is where Gavin is. He is a user, she needs to realize that, as much as I don't want to like her I at least have to protect her. I am no saint myself, but he has a secret.

I roll out of my bed and face myself in the mirror, as cocky as I am start to flex, guy thing. Opening my drawer I get a black polo shirt and some denim jeans. I am going to go talk to Kai about our little encounter.

I start the ignition to my Mercedes and head off to Kai's. Finally after about 15 minutes I arrive at her one story home. Before stepping out of my car I be sure to look into my car mirror to fix some strands of my tussled hair.

Swallowing my pride I bring myself to knock on Kai's front door. The door opens after the second knock.

"Hello, oh Tyler look at you! What are you doing here?" Kai's mom surprises me. Not to be weird or anything, but Kai's mother is one fine dime.

Smiling faintly I reply, "Well I am actually here to talk to Kailene, is she home?"

"Oh sorry, you just missed her, she left with Kendall a couple minutes ago to go dine. Um, are you friends with Gavin.. Gavin Barnes?" Kai's mom questions with puzzled look on her face.

I rush my fingers through my hair, "Uh.. sorta, we play together." I gulp.

"He left a package at my door step and I opened it. I didn't tell Kai, it's her first boyfriend, but I'm not a fan. He bought her lingerie, can you like just watch out for my daughter?" She has a concerned tone. I can't believe that dick bought her that. He wants to play, I'll play. I start to text a number giving them a heads up.

"Thanks Ms. Woods. I'll go after her." I clench my fists and restart my ignition heading off to where we all hang out, this fancy restaurant called 'Blackout'.

As I pull up to the restaurant I notice Kendall's car. I am relieved to find out she's here. Opening the door I ignore the waitress who greets me, I spot Kai about to order from the menu.

I rush over there interrupting her when she says "I'd like"

Speaking for her I tell the waiter,"She'd like a Burger, well done, and I repeat do not put pickles, mustard, or onions,  because that's a mistake that's always made, her fries as well must be well done, soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, finally a cup of iced water, shall I be crystal clear, ICED water not water without ice, she is a bit picky. But I manage to deal with it and so can your chefs and you. Young lad, have a nice day."

What did I just do? Wow.

Walking away from the table Kai's jaw literally hit the ground and as usual, Caleb is laughing and Kendall is just as shocked as James.

I quickly run out the restaurant. Gavin is going to win. I can't go through with this.

Kai's POV

Tyler rushes out the door leaving me in a state of shock. Kendall interrupts my thoughts,"Kai go after him."

Taking her advice something comes over me telling me to listen to her and chase after him and that's what I'm going to do.

"Wait! Tyler!" I shout while barging out the door. I notice his car and head over there, he begins to start his car and back out, but as relentless as I am I stop in front of his car before he can get the chance to actually back out fully which he almost did hit me, but I don't care.

Tyler hops out of his car, "Kailene! what are you thinking are you crazy!"

Thunder interrupts his last sentence.

"Tyler, yes I'm crazy don't you know that. From the moment I hit you in your balls" I chuckle, "You can't just kiss me and not call me then show up to a restaurant ordering for me! What does this mean?" I question. Tyler gives me puppy dog eyes, a few rain drops start to appear from the cloudy sky.

Tyler approaches me like they do in the movies where there's actresses love interest walks up to her in slow motion. Tyler lifts up his hand and cups my cheek. All my blood rushes through my cheeks making me blush. I probably look like a tomato at this point. But what about Gavin? I mean I am not this type of girl?

It begins to pour down with rain. Tyler puts his hands around my waist pulling me into his body, we both look up at each other straight into the soul. I am freezing because of the damn rain. I thought to distract me from this intense moment. I mean Tyler and I pffft, never.

All of a sudden his warm pink lips clash onto mines. Are we actually kissing in the rain. Tyler turns me around and pushes me against his car he grabs onto my thighs and I jump onto him wrapping my legs around his body. flashbacks from the closet is making this make out sesh intensify. I let out a soft moan as he kisses me harder. We are nearly drenched in rain and people are giving us dirty looks as they pass us, I let out a chuckle due to the eyes who are staring at us. But as soon as I saw one eye in particular I immediately lose grip of Tyler and let go.

Gavin stands there with yellow roses, but as soon as he realizes what I have done he drops the flowers on the ground.

I am not this type of girl, I am in a relationship for gods sake. Gavin is my boyfriend. What came over me?

"You bastard! You played me!" I shout at Tyler.

I know it's not his fault. It's mine.

I run towards Gavin who looks heart broken, I mean who wouldn't be?

"Gavin I could explain."

Gavin puts his fingers to my lips to hush me, "You have me standing here in the rain brining you flowers, Tyler called me telling me that you wanted to see me. I guess you both played me and I'm a sucker for thinking your different. Either come with me now or leave with him. Let your heart pick whom you desire?"

his words struck me like lightning.

Gavin or Tyler?

Tyler or Gavin?

Both are standing here in the rain expressing their feelings in different ways towards me. It's raining and I'm shivering and left speechless. My mind is confused.

Who would I be coming home with tonight?
