"She will always stay in our hearts forever." Jin mumbled. A drop of tear fell on the palm of his hand as he fondled soohee's forehead for the last time. The emotion was unexplainable. Something he has never felt nor does he ever wants to feel it again. It would be so cruel.

"She is a strong girl. She remained strong until the last moment." Namjoon joined in as he helped the latter to get up. Jin couldn't hold his tears, he turned his husband's shoulder to cry on.

"What can i say, soohee? You didn't deserve it of course but life chose it. I am sorry i couldn't save you. If only I studied enough to cure this disease. But you know what regretting about it is of no use right now. Please be happy, always." Yoongi said, glancing at the girl's face with a painful yet peaceful expression. What more can he say? None of it was in his grasp. He can't decide someone's destiny nor can he change his own destiny, so he can't blame himself either.

What soohee is going through is no one's fault. It was simply life choosing it's way. No force in the entire world can change it. It's better to accept it rather than opposing the ways of life. But what might sound easy is actually very hard.

"I love you, soohee. You will always be my princess no matter where you are." Taehyung muttered taking soohee's hands in his. How did life come to this?

Soohee used to come running to taehyung when he used to visit their house. He was her best friend since she was born. He was the first person to hold her in his arms. They had a bond no one could explain. She was almost like his daughter, how can he accept the fact that she is going away.

"I will always miss you." Taehyung cried, holding onto soohee's cold hands. He yearned to see her smile which lighten ups his day. Just thinking about how he won't see that smile every again, breaks his heart into million pieces and soohee isn't here to mend it again.

Hoseok stood there silently. He pondered on what he could say, nothing came to his mind. He knew that soohee might hear him. But did he want to bid her farewell so sorrowfully? Wouldn't that burden her? What if she can't leave peacefully?

For the last time they glanced at her and slowly started leaving. A heavy feeling followed them, becoming heavier with every step they took. An unfamiliar feeling settling in the pits of their stomach. Was it really the last time? They were cautious of the day but why does it feel so unreal right now? Why do they feel like soohee will actually wake up right this instant and change their lives. If only that could happen.

"Soohee, my baby. What have we come to?" Jimin held soohee's hand, brought it up to his lips. He planted a light kiss on the back of her palm. Jungkook watched as jimin sank into a deep feeling of grief. He couldn't predict his wife's emotions. What must he feel?

"You are my everything, baby. You know that, right?" Jimin tried with all he could to prevent himself from breaking down immediately. He for once wanted to show soohee that he was strong. He was happy to let her go. But deep within he wasn't.

"Dada is always with you, my soohee. If you can't open a jam jar again, just call me. I will always do it for you, my baby." Jungkook uttered caressing soohee's cheek which were so hollow now.

He could feel himself breaking down. His heart was burning yet it was so peaceful. Why could he not cry? Was he not allowed to cry? His heart ached but his mind said otherwise. It would he a shame to cry.

"Just so you know. Your appa will always love you no matter where you are. You can hear me right, soohee?" A father's emotion could not be explained. He was crying, his hands were shaking.

He wanted to scream out her name. Tell her to wake up. If only that could really work.

"Why are you leaving us, soohee? You know mama can't live without you, right?" Jimin asked. Was he blaming her? He could never do that. It was beyond her reach.

"Please hold my hand again. Please call me mom again. Soohee! My child." Jimin broke down. His long held composure was crushed in a second. He could no longer handle the pain.

His eyes shed a river of tears, while he cried incoherently.

"Soohee! Please don't leave me!" Jimin screamed while crying. Did soohee hear though? That was the main question. But at least jimin could try.

"Please don't leave me!" Jimin looked scornful. His eyes were glossy. His face was red and he was shaking violently.

Jungkook pulled him into his embrace. He let jimin hit him. He himself couldn't control himself.

The couple cried in grief. Their world was ruined. It felt like their lives didn't matter anymore. Where did they went wrong?

"I am so sorry, soohee." Jungkook mumbled holding jimin's and soohee's joined hands.

"2 minutes left till her oxygen runs out." The doctor read out. He felt bitter stating the fact that soohee had only two minutes to live.

Jimin shook his head.

"No I refuse. Continue her treatment! I want my daughter alive. Please!" The mother stood up abruptly. He was desperate to have soohee alive. All the doctors could do was shake their heads in denial. They were sorry but his request could not be fulfilled.

"No! Please soohee come back! My baby come back to mama! I will sing you a lullaby! Soohee please!" Jimin lost his balance. He crouched to the ground slowly crying out loud. Everyone was waiting behind them holding their cries.

Jungkook pulled jimin towards him, he put jimin's hand on soohee's hand. Jungkook silently enjoyed the fading nerve pulse.

Jimin could just silently cry.

And maybe it was a miracle or just their hallucinations. Soohee's fingers really did move. Jimin looked at jungkook with a look of surprise so did jungkook.

But it wasn't what they expected. Slowly her nerve pulse was no more felt. It got fainter and fainter until it was no more.

"6.53PM, 23 November, Jeon Soohee has expired. We give you our condolences." The nurse declared.

Their worlds came clashing down. A cry broke out. A cry so painful. A cry of a mother who lost his child.
