"Hey there Kronii~"

"Bold of you to come and seek me after making me fix all the mess you made, it seems your not scared of death." Kronii said, her eyes not leaving the paperwork she had in front of her.

The blonde detective laughed and sat down on Kronii's couch. "I'm friends with death, remember?" She grinned.

"Not even an apology, you're brave."

"I know thanks for the compliment. And could you let it pass? It was a small slip up."

Kronii looked at the detective with an eyebrow raised. Amelia kept the cheeky grin on her face while the Warden was looking at her. In the end Kronii just sighed and continued what she was doing. It wasn't really that big of a deal but she had to do a lot more paper work because of that.

"Sure and as a punishment, how about you hand me your watch?"

"Left it at home."

"You're making up excuses."

"I am not! I seriously left it at home." Amelia said with her hands up in the air.

"Whatever... just grab a pen and start writing, Amelia Watson." Kronii said as a huge pile of documents appeared in front of Amelia.

The detective groaned, she won't be able to escape this one.

An hour of silence, just the ticking of a clock and pens writing. Both very focused and glued to what they were doing. But the silence didn't last long as Kronii's office door slammed open.

"Kronii!" A familiar voice.

Kronii blinked before looking at the girl who almost destroyed her door. "I told you not to slam my door, Mumei." She said glaring at the owl girl.

Mumei just smiled innocently. "Sorry." She apologized making Kronii nod.

"Oh hi there, Ame." The girl waved at the blonde detective.

Amelia smiled and waved back. "Hello Mumei."

"What're you doing here?" Kronii asked.

"I just wanted to visit you." She chirped happily making Kronii groan.

"I thought you were gonna hang out with Bae today."

Mumei sat down on the couch, where Amelia was sitting. She placed the basket she was holding on the table. "She went on a date with Irys."

Reading the atmosphere, Amelia decided to shoot her shot. "Hey chief, since you already have company can I... go now?"

"Fine, but one more slip up and I'm confiscating your watch." Kronii said.

"Thanks, oh and use protection okay?" She said before running out of the Warden's office.

Mumei looked at Kronii with confusion and asked, "Protection? For what?" She asked innocently.

While Kronii on the other hand had a very red face, damn that detective. She was really gonna have it the next time they see each other. Kronii started to regain her composure, answering Mumei when she felt her face cool down.

"Nothing you need to worry about, Amelia was just being a comedian. Yeah... a comedian." She said.

Mumei was still confused but she just nodded. "Oh oh by the way, Fauna helped me bake these!" She said as she walked over Kronii's table with the basket in her hand.

Kronii silently observe her with just one word inside her head, repeating again and again.

"Cute."

"Huh? Did you say something?" Mumei asked making Kronii snap back to reality, realizing that she said that word out loud.
