One thing led to another now Kronii's sat in front of Mumei, waiting for their order to arrive. Time asked Civilization to go out and hang out, maybe have some fun. But Bae just called it a date.

So yes, Kronii and Mumei are having their first date. It was just the two of them eating out, no friends just the two of them... alone together. Mumei was the first one to talk, making the atmosphere between them lighter.

Not that Mumei even noticed the thick awkwardness around them earlier. Mumei's a wise owl just a bit dense and forgetful and Kronii loved that. Mumei looked so adorable when she gets frustrated trying to remember stuff.

"I'm glad you took a break from work." Mumei smiled, her smile was so sweet Kronii almost felt her teeth rotting.

"Of course, I may be perfect but I still need some time to rest."

Mumei giggled and nodded while humming. "Sana said we have an upcoming council meeting, have you finished your report?" Kronii asked.

"Oh yeah! I finished that a few days ago." She chirped making Kronii grin and nod.

"That's great, nice job." She said making Mumei's face light up.

"Hehe thanks." She said as their order arrived. Kronii gave the waiter a nod as thanks before facing Mumei again.

"Careful now." She said when she saw Mumei moving quickly, was she that hungry?

The girl gave her a thumbs up before taking a bite. Kronii didn't realize that she was staring too much until Mumei called her. It made her flustered, Mumei caught her staring... oh god.

"You okay, Kronii? Are you not gonna eat?" She asked the taller girl. Kronii blinked and shook her head.

"I-i'm fine, sorry." She cleared her throat. She tried to make small talk by asking Mumei some questions while they were eating.

"So... where'd you wanna go after this?" She asked making Mumei think.

She put her hand on her chin and looked up, thinking of a good place they could go after the meal. "The mall?"

"Sure, let's go there after." Kronii nodded, good choice she thought. The mall had everything so that was a really nice choice, maybe she could buy something for Mumei.

After eating, Kronii payed for the bill refusing to split it with Mumei. Mumei was about to protest but Kronii just told her that it was as thanks for always keeping her company. She knew she had no chance tow in against the Warden so she just surrendered making Kronii smile widely.

While walking around the mall, Mumei kept on telling her different stories and some of her frustrations. Kronii was just silently listening with a small smile plastered on her face, she liked seeing Mumei rumbling and ranting.

"Hey Kronii, can I say something that's a bit... weird?" Mumei asked making the taller girl look at her with a confused expression signaling her to continue.

"It's just... I have dreams at night. I didn't really pay them any attention since when I wake up the next morning I forget about them but last night. Last night was different, Kronii." Mumei said with a silent voice.

Kronii stopped and looked at her with furrowed eyebrows.

"What did you see, Mumei?" Kronii asked.

Civilization slowly turned her head to Kronii, dull eyes met with her deep blue ones, a shiver running through her spine. Mumei tilted her head with a dark expression.

"Why'd you do it, Kronii?"

Kronii wanted to run away but her feet were glued to the floor. "I don't know what you're talking about." She tried to keep her voice as normal as possible, not wanting the person in front of her hear the fear in it.
