He couldn't get it off of his mind.

M/n had tried so hard and for so long too just to get this stupid crush off his mind. Out of his life, out of his problem, out of his line of sight. Hell, out of his line of reach. But nothing worked. No matter how many times he avoided him, switching between hallways, taking a new route every day. Keeping his head hung low whenever he smelled his scent pass him. Covering his ears, trying his hardest to block out his soothing laughs. Every broken heart attempt lead him straight back to him. He couldn't do this anymore. His heart was beating out his chest, not finding the words to say whenever he was around. Driving him up a wall when meeting each other's eyes before turning away as blush spreads to the tip of his ears, never fathering. He couldn't even be in the same room without stumbling over his sentences, stuttering like crazy. Keeping his distance wasn't working either. Waiting for him to walk out first feels like garneting that he'll bump into him later. His heart couldn't take it.

His heartbeat pumped out of his chest. He couldn't focus on anything but his screen. His friends texted him multiple times, but he couldn't seem to type anything without his fingers trembling. He just posted a meaningless story on Instagram. Soon as he woke up from his nap, he read it. M/n grabbed a pillow to hide his smile, not wanting anyone around his house to notice his sudden excitement. The happiness and joy it brought him. All he wanted was him...

but...

he couldn't have him...

--------

He couldn't do this. A letter, to a crush?! No! His brain span as the back of his hand hid his smile, both from fear and joy. M/n was fine with rejection but, it's different with him. The way he walks in the room, talking like there's no tomorrow. He clenched his shirt, tightening by every movement he made. His heartbeat rang in his ears, afraid he heard it as he walked by. This all felt too cliché. Too much for him to take. All he wanted was him in his arms but what balls did he have to do this. Where could he get those steel balls to finally tell his crush he loved him. There was no way this was going to work out so easily. And no one else knew about his other than his strange behavior lately. Especially his twin sister.
