Family from ma Memories. [💔]

Hmmn... Family of my Ma? It's been so long since I even thought of ma late Ma's family. Ever since Ma died, I hardly eva entertained the thought of anything or anyone who could be related to 'er...

Oh wait! Yeah, I rememba someone! They were an orphan 'til they were adopted by some bitch in Ma's family... 'Course, this is more recently.

Ya see, way afta Ma died an' I took the UNDERGROUND to the Surface, I looked inta family under Ma's last name since I had ma own family wit' Bucky afta escapin' HYDRA. There were a few people still alive; but I noticed there was a recent adoption. So, I kinda decided ta look into it.

Found the address, I showed up at the kiddo's doorstep an' knocked politely; hands behind ma back and legs shoulder width apart... It's er... Militaristic instinct, aheh...

Uh, anyways! So, a little kid about ehh... 10 or so opens the door, an' holy shit is it like shellshock cause uh...

They looked jus' like Ma did as a kid.

I saw pictures of Ma from ma Dad when I was a kid, so... This was kinda freaky fer me. I didn't know that people could look so similar... I had to shake it off though cause I got so far now.

So afta I recover from that, I kneel down an' I ask 'em:

"Heya kiddo. Is this the house of Frisk, or is that someone in your house?"

They smiled at me an' told me it was them who was Frisk. So I smiled back an' told 'em that I was part of their family. The way their face lit up, poor kid... Afta I clarified that I wasn't technically related to the kiddo by blood cause they were adopted; they really didn't seem to care.

Apparently, their parent was always busy at work, so the kiddo had ta take care of themselves. Asked 'em if they went to school, said they can't. Asked 'em who their parent was, said they don't see 'em often enough ta know.

So I'm ova here like: 'Well shit. Kid's like me.' Course, I had ma Dad an' ma brotha Fang, this kiddo had no one.

So then I decided ta be a bigger person an' ask 'em the toughest question I could ask. I asked 'em if they knew someone named Charaline Rosaline... Erm, that was my Ma's first an' middle name.

Withholdin' her last name fer privacy reasons an' all that, erm... Anyways, the kiddo nodded excitedly an' told me that apparently; their parent told 'em they looked so much like Ma that everyone thought they were sistas even though they knew that Ma was...

...Hrm. 'Parently it was a joke in the family... Ugh.

Anyways, I told 'em that she was my Ma, and the way their eyes glittered under that information was adorable. Then, the kiddo decided ta call me their Niece! And the look on ma face made them laugh so hard they fell over giggling.

I mean, a 10 year old callin' a 207 year old their niece? It ain't uncommon fer Humans but fer me at the time? I had no clue that was a thing.

So, ya know... I went wit' it even if they weren't actually Ma's lil' sister. So now, I got an Aunt who's 10 years old, 'bout ta turn 11. So maybe it's 'bout time I introduce 'em ta Buck an the Triplets. An' yes, I know they don't choose ta identify as a girl nor a boy; but they let me call them ma Aunt cause they don't particularly care about me callin' them that.

So yeah, there ya go. I do got some family on my Ma's side... Ma 10 year old Aunt. Hahahaha!~

They're a great kid. They love music, they love flowers, an' they're pretty good at drawin'. I'm sure they'd love meetin' ma Dad, they seem real friendly wit' everyone.

Ya know, I dare ta think this, but... 'Cause the kid looks so much like Ma did, maybe Ma found a way back ta me somehow. I dunno what gives, but it's just a feelin' I got.

Sometimes I just... I see Ma in Frisk an' I have ta shake the feelin' cause I neva met Ma myself, so how could I know right?

Okay, knowin' I have that reaction, maybe introducin' Frisk ta Dad right now wouldn't be a good idea... If I react like that, maybe Dad would be even worse.

I dunno, I'll uh... I'll see what happens I guess.
