Abducted

Trying.

Taylor's P.O.V

I woke up because my phone buzzed. Any other time I would've ignored it but when I saw Luanas name light up I immediately picked up my phone and read her text.

My jaw dropped and tears threatened to spill. I quickly text back.

"Australia?! What!!! Come back!! You can't leave me, Lu! I miss you, and I don't know what happened to your mom, but there were police officers at her apartment yesterday! But she didn't come out with them, I don't think she was home... *sigh* I'm sorry Luana I can't imagine what it feels like. And your brother, I've heard of his band, they're 5 seconds of summer! But... When can I see you??" I hit send and fell back on my bed.

I had nothing. I'm fifteen years old and live in an apartment by myself. My parents abandoned me so I ran away before Child services were called, obviously I didn't make it far but my aunt vouched for me so I didn't have to go with them. As far as they know, my aunt lives with me.

I received a message from Luana.

"Taylor! Oh thank god you answered, I miss you! I'm assuming Luke's band is pretty big, but Uhm.... Wow. Rebecca wasn't home? She's probably looking for me... Or running from the police... I'm okay. Just a little rough. And... I don't want to leave you!!! I wish you could fly down here and stay with me!" I read her text anxiously and replied.

".....can I? Ya know, stay with you?"

Luanas P.O.V.

I read her text and bit my lip. I thought for a moment.

Well, they did just flip my life upside down and move me across the world. They said they would do anything to make sure I'm alright. It's the least they could do.... Right?

I pushed myself up onto my feet and walked down stairs. All eyes turned to me. "Hey... Uhm.. I have a question.." I said quietly.

"What is it, sweetie?" My mom asked. I took a deep breath.

"Well... I have this friend. Her name is Taylor.. And she's 15 and lives on her own. Her parents abandoned her and I was the only one she had left... I texted her and told her what's going on.. I know it's a lot to ask but c-could she stay with us?" I asked sheepishly.

My mom and father exchanged glances and my father spoke up.
"Of course she can! We'll get her a plane ticket and everything, don't you worry about it." He said as he placed a hand on my shoulder.

I could tell that they weren't to sure of this, but they did it for me anyways. A smile grew across my face. "Really?" I beamed with hope in my eyes.

"Mhm" my mother smiled.
"Thank you so much!" I said excited and hugged both of them.

"I can't wait to tell her!" I said as I pulled out my phone and texted her everything.

~the next morning~

Luana's P.O.V

I woke up when I felt someone poking my cheek. I mumbled and turned around. I opened my eyes to see Luke's smiling face infront of mine.

"What are you doing?" I laughed.

"I've been waiting for the day I could wake my little sister up again." He replied, nonchalantly.

I slightly smiled.
"You're such a dork, ya know that?"
He nodded.

"So we're already starting with the name calling now aren't we?" He teased and I shrugged.

"Get up. Me and the boys are gonna show you around today. Taylor will be here tomorrow around 11." He said. I nodded and smiled.

I stood up and shoved him out of my room and picked out an outfit. I decided on a white sweater top and light washed ripped shorts.

I slightly curled my hair and applied face powder, mascara, and a nude lip gloss before heading down stairs and slipping on my white vans.

Me and the boys are breakfast together and headed out. I sat in the back seat between Calum and Luke with Ashton driving and Michael in the passenger.

"This is weird." I said.
"What is?" Calum asked.

"The steering wheel!" I pointed out.
"It's on the opposite side!! This is so weird! It makes me confuzzled!" I said and threw my hands up.

"Everything backwards here! Even the toilet water flushes in the opposite direction!" I laughed along with the boys.

"You're so cute when you're confused" Calum admitted then instantly covered his mouth.

Ashton and Michael started saying
"ooooooooo" like he was in trouble as Luke shot him a glare.

"Everyone keep there dirty little hands off of my sister." He warned them.

I let out a little giggle and shook my head.
