There was nothing Sora hated more than the alarm, reminding her to wake up every morning. Feeling more lazy than ever, she decided to lay in bed for a few more minutes.

"Maybe I should skip school today" Sora thought for a moment, knowing that even if she wanted, she didn't have a choice.

The girl got up from bed and settled for a nice warm bath. After the shower, she brushed her hair and put the school's uniform. Yesterday she ironed it so it wasn't much trouble with that. When Sora finished her morning routine, she went downstairs to greet her parents. As usual the house was quiet and above the table was a small post-it with a familiar handwriting.

"We had to leave earlier to be punctual at the airport. We'll comeback in a few days so behave and try to not be late at night. Dad left money in the kitchen counter"
~ Love Mom.

She almost laughed at her own incredulity thinking mom and dad were right downstairs waiting for Sora to greet her good morning. She even pitied herself. When she walked toward the counter a small smile crossed her lips.

"At least they left a good amount". She put the money in her pocket as well as the dark red lighter and the pocketknife. Sora grabbed her AirPods and blast with full volume her favorite playlist.

Lee Suhyeok and Sora weren't that close, actually, according to Sora, they were just classmates and acquaintances. He lived nearby and would sometimes offer to walk with her to school. She didn't mind his company, so the girl would accept whenever she was feeling like it.

The two students walked side by side to school, both minding their own business, just keeping each other company. Sora was mumbling the lyrics to one of her favorite songs, "You Can't Hold My Heart" by Monsta X, when the boy cleared his throat.

"Sooo, you are Namra's friend right?" Asked a very curious Suhyeok.

"Not really, well, I wouldn't call her a friend, just desk mates".

Her and Namra's relationship was weird. When Sora's dad found out she was friend with, and I quote, "people below their standards" (talking about Onjo, Cheongsan and Gyeongsu) he talked to her saying some shit about making friend with high level students. Sora being Sora couldn't care less what he had to say, so she kept hanging with her friends. His dad got mad, and grabbed his phone to dial Namra's mom. Since that moment their parents forced them to build a friendship and sit together in school. At first it was awkward and while Namra studied, Sora would steal few glances at the girl. Eventually Sora got the courage to befriend her, because believe it or not Namra intimidated the girl, not much but enough to make her question before hand what she would said to her. They weren't best friends, but they were comfortable with each other.

"Why the curiosity, Suhyeok?" Sora asked with a slight teasing tone.

"Nothing important, just making conversation"

"Sure thing, whatever you say"

The two classmates kept walking until they reached the school's front gate. Each one parted their own way saying a small see you soon.

Sora was walking nonchalantly to her classroom when Yoon Gwinam placed his arm in her shoulders.

"Morning, princess. What you are up to?" He asked her with a playful grin in his face.

"None of your business, back off" Sora fought the urge to get her pocketknife and cut his fingers one by one.

"Damn, well then I have something to deal with, see you later" Gwinam replied sending a wink to her.

"Ugh, what an asshole, he just ruined my day"

At the distance she saw Cheongsan laughing to himself about something. Instantly she straightened her hair and uniform. She couldn't help but to feel the butterflies in her stomach.

"Hey, Sora, good morning. Did you get home yesterday? Nothing happened, right? Did you eat breakfast?" Cheongsan questioned somewhat worried.

Okay, everyone knows that Cheongsan was doing the bare minimum after what happened yesterday, but Sora couldn't help to blush at his concern for her safety.

"Sure, nothing happened, let's walk together to our classroom" Sora begged that Cheongsan couldn't hear her noisy heart beating faster.

When they set foot in the classroom Gyeongsu gave her a knowing look. She just rolled her eyes and went to her seat beside Namra's. Sora was sitting down and taking her things out when she heard an annoying Nayeon complaining.

"Hey! Get off of there. You're gross" She said making a disgusting face towards Gyeongsu.

Sora was about to stand up and fight the girl, but her desk mate hold her arm saying it wasn't worth it. The fact that nobody put Nayeon in her place made Sora very mad. Not wanting to start an argument she sat down and got ready to start her first period.
