The first encounter Sora had with Gwinam was when she was 15, this was around the time she started to try new things to get her parents mad. She was looking for an adventure, or at least that's what she liked to called them, and the most adventurous yet dangerous thing she ever did was befriend Gwinam.
Sora was tired of her parents constantly demanding a perfect daughter and the pressure she felt was too much to handle. Besides the girl assumed that she was missing new experiences, a get-to-know the world and discover it. Finally thinking she had power over her own decisions and being tired of her parents detachment, Sora ran away from home, well not exactly, but it was enough to make her parents "worry" for her.
That's when she met Gwinam and it all started with a cigarette.
Sora was peacefully wondering around the city looking for something to spend her time on. She just ran away from her house and was seeking a first wild and unforgettable experience. When she was about to regret everything and just come back to her house, she saw this silhouette that immediately caught her attention. Not caring if it was a stranger, she walked toward it and sat besides this unknown person.
"Mind if I join?" An unbothered 15 years old Sora asked.
"Not a all. A penny for a thought?"
They both introduced each other and Sora decided to persuade this friendship when he offered to share a cigarette. Gwinam was the epitome of the risk that she was so eager to find. And just like that Sora opened up to him and told Gwinam most of her unfortunate life and believe it or not he carefully listen to everything she was saying.
They started to hang out and Sora was gaining new insane life adventures. After all, he was the one who suggested to try everything she wasn't allowed to do. Cheongsan, Onjo and Gyeongsu warned her about the consequences of her acts, but Sora wouldn't listen since she was having the time of her life. Besides, when she was with Gwinam she didn't have worries, she didn't care about her parents and the most important thing is that she forgot the unrequited love she was stuck on and was torturing her so bad.
After a while Sora met his friends and that's when she got a bad feeling about everything. They would constantly get caught bullying scared teenagers, being in the wrong places at the wrong time, and getting in trouble with the authorities. Sora just wanted a foolish experience, not a illegal reputation.
Later on, before starting high school, she finally opened her eyes and realized that Gwinam was bad news. But what she didn't expect was that he started to catch feelings. When Sora tried to cut ties with him, he told her about the unexpected feeling he had towards the girl, however Sora couldn't return those feelings, so when she rejected Gwinam, he acted like an asshole, wouldn't let her move on and tried to hold her accountable for his one sided feelings. He was awfully mad and started spreading disgusting rumors about her in school.
Sora knew that she made terrible decisions but who could blame her, she was just an immature and depressed 15 years old. She never wanted the whole school finding out what she had done. Gyeongsu was the one who told her that Gwinam started the rumors and Sora was heartbroken. She knew he wasn't trustworthy, but she hoped he wouldn't backstab her like that. So this is when her hatred for the boy began.
Gwinam never wanted this situation to end up like it did. In fact he still cares deeply for the girl, in his own particular way. He just started to act like a dickhead, because he got rejected and this was hurting his pride. Of course he wouldn't admit it, but he never moved on from Sora, so the only idea he considered to approach her, was being an annoying and disturbing ass.

Sora was still panicking in the floor trying to think of what to do, since a bloody student was nearing her, when she looked at Cheongsan. She saw that he was trying to keep his calm and she understood that he was looking for the safest way to exit this mess, and that was one of the thing she admired from him the most. Maybe he wasn't a genius or anything like that, but he was fast thinker and fearless.
The two friends locked eyes and Cheongsan realized Sora needed his help. He went running to where she was, but he immediately stopped in his tracks. He perceived that Onjo also needed his help. Now he was stuck in a dilemma between helping Sora or Onjo, and well we all know what he decided. Remember when Sora said she admired Cheongsan's capability to make fast decisions? Well fuck that.
"Stupid bitch" but Sora didn't have enough time to get mad at him, she had to look after herself. She was about to fight it without any type of weapon, when the student suddenly got thrown as far away as possible.
"Let's go, darling, you don't want to get eaten by a fucking bloody teenager, do you?" Sora rolled extremely her eyes and Gwinam just pulled her under the nearest table.
"Hey, you brat. I could've protect myself you know. I don't need a knight in shining armor"
"Ugh, Sora, you never stopped being so stubborn, he was about to eat you, not like that though" he said while smirking. "Besides, don't you have like a super badass pocketknife always with you?" Fuck, Sora never thought about her pocketknife, in her defense she was too shocked to think wisely.
"Shut up, Gwinam. You're literally so annoying I'm tired of your shit".
"Damn I literally just saved you and this is how you thank me? Ungrateful much?"
"Whatever, I need to leave the cafeteria like right now" Gwinam showed extremely confusion at her statement.
"Leave? Not in the middle of this. Just wait until everything's calm down"
"Fuck it, I can't do that. My priority now is finding my friends" she said while looking for an exit.
"Friends? Bullshit. I saw what that asshole Cheongsan did, and you still call him your friend? You are clueless" Gwinam mocked her.
"Hey, you have no right talking about them like that. I'm thankful that you saved me, I owe you a big one, but I can stay here, I really really need to find them or else... well you get the point"
"Pfff whatever. Look, at our left there is a window, I can help you get through it and then you can finally look for them".
"Really? Would you help me?" Gwinam just nodded. "I don't want to hurt my ego, but I'm saying this once, thank you so much"
"Sure darling, just don't die. Not today"
And just like that Gwinam helped Sora to escape the cafeteria.
