Sora finally thought she would have some time to rest. The students couldn't do anything expect wait for somebody to come and help them. They were in the science lab, with all the tables and chairs stacked against the windows. Sora and Gyeongsu were sitting on the floor. She was resting her head in his shoulder, trying to get some sleep.

"Where's Suhyeok" Onjo's question made Sora raise her head and she looked around, but there was not a single sign from the lost boy. "Has anyone seen him? You were with him" She said towards Cheongsan.

"He was behind me, but I don't know where he is"

"It wouldn't be the first time you leave a friend behind" Gyeongsu added with a slightly scoff. Sora didn't want to get between both friends, so she held Gyeongsu's hand and told him something to calm him down.

"Hey, Gyeongsu. I'm okay. Absolutely nothing happened to me, you don't have to worry about it. Cheongsan was stuck in a complicated decision, so stop pinning this on him. We should focus on how are we getting out of here, so just give it a rest" Gyeongsu just held her hand tighter.

Cheongsan noticed this and a pang of jealousy ran through his body. However there was nothing he could've done since he lost his chance and screwed everything up.

The fact that Suhyeok was out there instead of here with his friends, make Sora feel uneasy. She knew the boy was tough and could easily stay alive, but she couldn't help but to be worried for him. This also had her thinking about the person who saved her before, Gwinam.

"Is he alright? Did he survived in the cafeteria? Has he become on of those zombies? Is he even alive?" All of this unsolved questions were running through her mind, but she also knew he had a fierce personality so it would be hard to kill him entirely.

Sora decided it was for the best to set this thoughts aside and decided to finally get some sleep. So this is how she fell asleep, with her head resting on Gyeongsu's shoulder, with both students sitting in the corner of the science lab.

The thing that woke Sora up was a loud beep coming from the school's speakers. She hoped everything was just a bad dream and she would wake up in her desk after a boring lesson, but apparently nothing ever came the way she wanted to.

"Students and teachers of Hyosan High School. I'm Park Sunhwa, the English teacher. Something strange is happening throughout the school. Some students are attacking people indiscriminately, so please find a safe place and take shelter. And if any student or faculty hears this and is able, please call the police and the fire department. Students, hide somewhere safe until help arrives. If you can get out of the school, please get out. I repeat. Some students are..." her voice clearly cracked and some soft cries could be heard from the teacher. "Guys. You're okay, right? You're not hurt, right? I don't know what's going on or why this is happening. Still, find a safe place and hide. I'm sorry I can't be any help. Don't get hurt, okay? Let's stay alive and meet again. Okay?" And the speech ended.

Sora didn't want to cry. She had to stay strong for her friends, but also for herself. Gyeongsu knew his friend wouldn't say anything about how she felt, so he wrapped and arm around her shoulder, trying to bring encouragement to the situation.

The girl tried to close her eyes in order to fall asleep again. This obviously didn't work, since the overthinking got the best of her. Why couldn't she be in love with Gyeongsu instead of Cheongsan? With Gyeongsu things were way easier and less messier. She loved his company and viceversa. But her stupid heart couldn't move on from Cheongsan. It refused to let go this one sided crush she had. Maybe deep down Sora wanted to believe she still had a shoot, although his acts spoke louder that a thousand words.

Sora was tired of getting her heart shattered in million pieces. She was getting annoyed at how she had to cry herself to sleep every night. The thought of always being the second option was draining her. And the worst part, she was losing herself in the process. Sora knew she deserved better and that she had enough of his bullshit, but something was keeping her away from moving on. Perhaps it had to do with the butterflies she felt whenever he was around. Or the teasing she confused with flirting. Or the fact that she thinks he's way too handsome for his own good. The power Cheongsan had over her mind was exhausting Sora. So she scolded herself and force her body to get some more rest.

⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂ ⁂

Once again Sora was woken up from her sleep. However, this time it had nothing to do with the noisy speakers, instead it was her best friend shaking her knee.

"Hey, Sora, you should wake up. I thing something's up with Onjo and Isak. It would be better if you go there and ask if everything's fine, after all you are closer to them" Gyeongsu whispered trying not to overwhelm his friend.

Sora finally came to her five senses and just nodded gently. She stand up and stretched to get rid of the stiffness. The girl walked lazily to their spot near the window. Sora realized something was wrong when she saw Onjo frowning while Isak's hand were against her cheek. Everything added up the moment she identified blood under her friend nose. And panic took over her body.

The two teenagers weren't that close, actually they were friends because of Onjo. But the thing is that Sora couldn't deny the fact that she liked Isak's company. She was easy-going and carefree, so Sora found her delightful. Now she was about to turn into a monster and this gave chills through her body. How could all change in such short amount of time?

Everything happened so fast. The next thing she knew was that Onjo was holding her hand, preventing Isak from falling of the window. Eventually the girl fell and just continued her way, except now she had become one of them. Sora didn't have to think twice to wrap her arms around Onjo, who was now kneeling in the floor, defeated.

The girl just hoped she would never have to experience one of her best friend turn into a zombie, Sora wasn't as strong as she pretended. Oh, how wrong she was. The teenager never in million years would be prepared for what was about to happen. Something that will change her entire life.
