The next few days Serçan was setting up his office at EZ. He got straight to work and, within months, was going to launch a new project for the company. Emir was going to take him out to celebrate. He had never invited Serçan home. It was the end of day and Serçan had finished his work. He packed up and let himself into Emir's office, expecting him to be alone.

He wasn't.

"Oh, this is your new partner I've heard so much about!" The woman smiled brightly, while Emir was irritated, and Serçan was shocked.

"I am Nihan," she introduced herself.

Serçan knew that.

"Emir's wife."

He didn't know that.

"S-Serçan," he told her his name again as he shook her expecting hand. "You, you're his wife?"

Her confidence was very opposite of his confusion.

"Yup! Just the two of us for the two years! And now we'll be three!" Nihan excitedly fixed her coat to show him.

"Congratulations!" Serçan's throat went dry.

"Nihan, go home." Emir finally said something. "Serçan and I still have a lot of work to do. We'll be late."

"Oh, alright," Nihan whined and rolled her eyes. She picked up her stuff and said goodnight, winking at Serçan as she left.

"I-I'm sorry! I thought you would be alone," Serçan apologized for intruding.

"Well, I'm all alone now. Shall we?" Emir closed up his work and got up, getting his coat.

Serçan followed Emir out. He didn't want to pry about his partner's private life, but he could safely assume Emir was frustrated. The woman he had met 3 months ago was too much to handle. And if he had known she was married, Serçan would have never. And of all the people in the world, she was married to Emir.

What a small world!

How was Serçan supposed to tell his business partner that he was possibly the father of his wife's baby?!

The men went out to try and celebrate, but they were both clearly distracted. They called it an early night and went back. Serçan went to Asu's house. He was starting to really like her, and didn't want to ruin a good thing before it even started. He was planning to tell her about his one night stand, but when he got there, Asu was super excited about something, and Serçan decided to tell her another day. Tonight, they would just be happy.

Emir, on the other hand, was not happy. After she had left, Emir had never wanted to get married again. But he was so damn mad at her leaving him with divorce papers, that when Nihan offered to marry him, he did.

When he came to his senses, Emir regretted it. There was a reason he had dumped her before, but now he was stuck. Not to mention that she was pregnant. Oddly enough, Emir couldn't recall if he'd slept with her 2 months ago. Of course, they were human, and married, so they did it. But Emir could count on one hand how many times they'd slept together since getting married.

"You're late," Nihan greeted him when he got home.

"I told you we were busy. Final days of the project. You didn't have to stay up. You'll stress yourself." Emir didn't love Nihan, but he was human. He wasn't going to disturb a pregnant lady. Emir was looking forward to being a dad.

"My brother is coming back from London. He'll stay with us."

"He can-"

"He'll stay... with us." Nihan said firmly. "And he's bringing his secretary with him. You know, the one I told you he had a crush on? So stupid, really," Nihan scoffed. "Love someone from your own class."

"You don't choose who you love," Emir replied quietly as he walked up to his room. Nihan followed.

"Well, I did." She replied to him, trying to hug and get close to Emir, but he wasn't in the mood. He tried to get off the bed, but Nihan pulled him back, claiming it helped the baby sleep better. Emir sighed and let his second wife sleep on him, while he spent the night thinking about his first one.
