This is it.

Today is the day you've been anxiously overthinking about.

You're meeting Kylie's family today and as the car came to a stop in the driveway in front of Kendall's huge home, you were certain that you've never been more nervous about anything than you feel right now.

"Y/N," Kylie softly spoke as she unbuckled her seatbelt and placed her hand over yours. "There's no need to be nervous. They're going to love you."

That's what she keeps saying. She's trying to assure you. She didn't have any reason to believe differently. Her family is very supportive of one another and they're all very close. Kylie thought wholeheartedly that her family would adore you just as much as she does because they only want her to be happy, and you have made her the happiest she's ever been.

"You're okay." She smiled as she stroked your cheek. "Trust me, everything will be just fine."

You took a deep breath before nodding your head and unbuckling your seatbelt.

You opened the door and got out of the car and your hand instantly intertwined with Kylie's when you were by her side again as you walked up the steps together.

You were trying to stay positive but this is such a huge day and a huge deal and you don't want to mess things up somehow. Because family is important to Kylie and all you want is to be accepted by them.

"Hello!" Kylie yelled out as you both entered Kendall's home. "Everyone! We're here!"

Suddenly, you heard the sounds of heels clicking across the hardwood floor as her family started to run out of whatever rooms they'd been in before you showed up so they could hug Kylie and meet you.

"So good to see you!" Kris told Kylie as she hugged her tight.

"I'm happy to see you all again. I've missed you." Kylie grinned after she hugged everyone. "And I brought y/n. She's really important to me. I wanted you to meet her."

Kylie stared at you adoringly while her family stared at you... not so adoringly.

They looked at you before looking at each other and then back at you and Kylie.

"It's nice to meet you," Khloe spoke as she forced a smile.

You and Kylie followed behind them, hand in hand, as they walked into the kitchen.

The entire time you all stood around waiting for the meal they'd made to finish, you felt odd. You felt like you stood out, as if they were all secretly judging you as they gazed at you.

You wanted to ask Kylie about it because you thought she saw them staring at you in a funny way too. But you didn't want to find out that it was all in your head and somehow ruin things with her by something.

As the evening went on, you stayed close to Kylie while also trying your very best to get along with her family.

You all sat around the dinner table. You were quiet while they all spoke, talking about their exciting lives and opportunities.

But suddenly, they all started to ask you some questions to try and get to learn more about you, as if Kylie hasn't been going on and on about you from the moment you met.

"Y/N," Kendall spoke and you lifted your head as she did so. "What do you do for a living?"

"I already told you-"

"We want to hear it from y/n." Kourtney interrupted Kylie.

"Nothing fancy, really. Nothing like the wonderful and exciting things you all do." You chuckled. "But I love my job and I love my life."
