Sydney Janes was a normal teenager until she got behind the wheel one fateful night. She lost her parents in a bad crash, but found Tony Becker - Hollywood's infamous troublemaker. Seeing she was only a kid who'd endured enough at his expense, Tony takes Sydney in and puts her to work.

Sydney struggles to put up with the c-list playboy. She finally had enough when he crosses the line one night, driving her to flee to another city where she meets hardworking heartthrob, Wilson Taylor - son of the well known Taylors.

Wilson quickly sets his sights on Sydney but is conflicted as he battles with the dilemma to end his two year long relationship with an older woman, Anna "Star" Cohen after finding out the kid he'd helped her raise for the past two years isn't her little brother at all, but the son she had at fifteen and has resented ever since.

While Wilson tries exploring things with the hot commodity who is Sydney, he juggles keeping his parents happy and maintaining their reputation as well as his own, and trying to get Hunter Cohen away from his troubled mother.

In this twisted romantic dramedy, Sydney will take on developing a real relationship with workaholic —and seemingly perfect boy-next-door— Wilson. She will navigate life since blaming herself for her parent's death after escaping her toxic boss who she swore her life to.

But don't let their charm and hot faces fool you, Sydney and Wilson have a dark side.

So don't get in their way, they just want to go to Paris, man. . .

ATTN: I do not own any images, videos, songs, or gifs used. Names of characters are made up and if there's any likeness to real persons it is completely coincidental. Brands and businesses mentioned are not sponsored. Some characters may have lines that I do not agree with personally. This is a work of fiction.

NOTE: there are seriously gruesome activities and allusions to SA. As well as DV. I am deeply so sorry to any victims and survivors, I am with you. This story is not meant to trauma dump nor use triggers for shock value especially to/against black people or other poc. It's simply a work of fiction with some details and plot points from my real life as this is one of my only ways to cope. You do not have to read this by any means. You have been warned, and I am sorry.
There is a note at the end that is very important explaining a lot. Just know everything in this story is intentional for reasons explained later & the ending is somewhat of a political statement/spoof. An "f u" basically to the (not so great— controversial) movies/tv show(s) this book was heavily inspired by. Please note I do not condone any type of violence or toxicity. Also, I do not share the same beliefs or opinions as (many of) the characters. Thank you.
