Freddy had been learning how to be a parental figure by watching many parents during his time off. This had been going on for months. He had learned a lot and logged many bytes worth of notes on his many observations. He had also realized that there were good parents and bad parents. Freddy found this fascinating and made sure to keep a close eye on the bad ones. It made him curious. He knew that not all humans were the same but it still interested him. Basic psychology was one of his subprograms and he consulted his database for simple answers. Freddy took more interest in the complexity of human behavior. He used what he learned to try to be a better father figure for Gregory. It was difficult sometimes. He was still learning, after all. And he couldn't truly understand humans because he wasn't one. But he made an honest effort. And that's all Gregory needed.
