Laura

Dinner was awesome. Dad and Klaus couldn't help but stop talking about their good old days. They went on about it the entire time at dinner. What was more surprising was, Violet knew my dad. He had apparently helped her in some project to save the whales. Not that they had met directly with each other. Only Violet knew about him because she was the coordinator.

We had two islands that included our pack. The ocean area that our pack covered was vast and dad supporting such a cause was obvious. He was the owner of that part in human terms. Our business was everything that involved the field of oceanography and fisheries. And that field was vast. More than half of the pack worked to develop this field.

I could feel my parents trying to figure out Violet on their own. It wasn't going to be new now that she showed so much going on with her. Every new person that was going to see her would have the same questions we had.

Indigo was taking it well and good with my parents. He didn't see harm in them anymore. And it amazed me because she was his pup and it had been just days. I knew he was doing it for me but he seemed sure with what he was doing.

After dinner we all sat in the living room to have dessert. Indigo told them everything that concerned her. He wasn't even hesitating and the relief I felt knowing he was trusting in my parents was making me feel at ease. Violet looked like she was going to pass out any minute. Klaus had his hand draped around her, like he was holding a baby in his arms.

She was trying hard to stay awake and answer the same questions again. I knew it was the same repeat telecast for her but she answered them without holding back. At one point she lost it to her sleep. It was funny she thought no one noticed her dozing off, as she quickly scanned us to check if we reacted.

Indigo took her to bed and stayed there until he knew she was asleep.
"Listening to him being so sweet reminds me of Avaluna. She was just the same." Mom said with a sad smile.

"She was." Klaus said, staring at the fireplace. He smiled and shook his head. "Alpha Logan will be staying at my place with Eli." He told us.

"Oh great. I cannot wait for another iconic event to take place if they get along well." I whispered. They chuckled.

Mom and I moved out to take a walk. "Mom." She looked at me. "I don't know how to be Luna. I mean, what am I gonna do when I leave here and then what if they need me or what if-"

"You'll know it in your heart, Laura. You'll know what it is that you'll need to do in your heart. You are going to connect with them with your heart. It will be difficult at the start...I agree but then eventually you'll know what is the right thing to do. That Luna within you will guide you. Put your belief in her." She told me with a smile.

"Yeah.. she's kind of making the decisions already." I said, disturbing the mud under my feet, nervous with the whole thing. My wolf was in a nice and good slumber, resting at the back of my mind.

Mom clapped once with a bright smile, "Then that is it! Tell me, wasn't she the one to push you to understand things over here. I know you wouldn't just put your trust in anyone like that. It had to be your wolf." She asked me.

She was so fucking right. My bitch had scored on and one ever since she came here. She knew there was nothing wrong in the pack even before she entered the pack. She knew it was her fate mate ever since that scent caught our attention. She knew the information regarding her mate were all but false rumours. She knew Violet was going to need me everytime she broke down and she insisted on me staying by her side.
