CHAPTER 30

LAURA

We reached the cliff which was covered with clouds on all sides. We could see the sun peaking out from the soft bed that formed the clouds. My wolf loved running with her mate, throwing mud at him for being a bad boy. Although she loved him staring at her back, grinning and wagging his tail happily with his tongue out.

She knew what she was doing to him. She knew how to perfectly seduce him, trailing her tail from side to side as she trotted ahead of him. Damn her. She loved the earth because it matched her mates. I loved it too and was happy I got to spare with him in it.

As we reached the cliff, Indigo moved ahead of me and looked back at me. He licked my face and rubbed his scent over me, grinding his body against mine. His wolf made us stand near the cliff and looked below.

I knew what he was going to do. He pushed his forelegs up on a stone and pushed his neck up higher to face the sky, howling. My wolf followed him with her own howl. They did that until the pack's howls were heard back to us.

The pack knew it was their Alpha and Luna, claiming this land yet again. They howled to show the pack they were there for them and that they would protect them with all their being.

The pack had grown anxious since the day Indigo announced to them about Violet. His wolf wanted to assure them it was alright and that they need not worry. I couldn’t help but grow fond of him more. He was so thoughtful when it came to the pack. I knew he did that because he felt deeply for them. Because they trusted him and felt the same way for him and also for Violet.

After we were done, Indigo linked me, “You’re so beautiful.” His wolf taking in our form, licking his lips.

“Cheesy wolf.” I laughed back, my wolf agreeing with me as she looked away from him. She loved when he complimented her, looking at her hungrily.

“Do you want to shift?” he asked me. I nodded.

He quickly brought us clothes that laid on the side under a tree with stones placed on them so they wouldn’t fly. We shifted and wore the clothes quickly. I turned to look at him and his eyes were already on my ass. I chuckled lightly and shook my head.

“What?” He asked, trying to surpass a smile.

“Nothing, you cocky Alpha!” I replied.

He pulled me to him and held me by my waist, touching our foreheads together, “One. You love the cocky Alpha and two you definitely love the cock.” he simply stated, making me turn red and shy away, trying to find a way to reply to him.

I wished it wasn’t true. Damn I loved both.

He laughed, throwing his head back, making me smack his chest. He looked so good like this. “Very funny.” I said, looking at him.

He looked back at me and said, “Well. You could have said what I loved about you.”

“What do you love about me?” I asked him, wanting to know.

“To begin with,” he moved his hands to my ass and squeezed them, making me blush even more. He continued before I could say anything, “These two perfect oceans,” he said as he kissed both my eyes. “I love your sexy brain,” he said as he kissed my forehead, making me chuckle. “I love that you have such a good heart. I love that you are so strong and that you are a damn good doctor who survived with the humans for so long. I love your spirits to end the ones who try to harm us. I love the fact that you are doing this for the others to have a chance and go out there and learn and see the human world. I love you because you are just so fucking perfect even with so much going around you. I love all of you, love. I can never ask for more. You motivate me, you help me, you are there for me all the damn time. You make me whole, love. I am so so fucking blessed to have you as my mate. Goddess, you are just so perfect and I love you so much and I am going to keep loving you, all of you.” He said, looking right into my eyes as I kept staring at him with all that he said. My heart fluttered and warmed at his words.
